Great location, basic apartment
Location was really central, near all bars and slopes. Apartment well sized for 2-3 people. Fabulous shower
Key pick up location changed last minute, quite annoying after a long journey. Apartment was noisy, a lot of people coming and going at all hours. Renting sheets, would be better if they were just included. Having to clean the apartment yourself, 6am before you leave isnt ideal! Should be included in price. Was told internet/wifi was included. Its not available.

Previous guests left the dishes in an unusable condition, so we had to clean everything before usage.

Great skiing - as always in Val Thorens. Expensive for the quality of apartment.
The view was amazing - the balcony has been enclosed with sliding glass panels which made it warm and cosy - the balcony gets lunch/afternoon sun that made sitting on the balcony overlooking the mountains lovely. It is close to the slope (20m) but you have to remember to be back to the Pioneer lift in time at the end of the day to be able to ski back to the residence - otherwise it’s a longer walk! Restaurants, bars, ski hire, ski pass office, supermarket all close by (5 mins) walk and just in case the residence is opposite the medical centre!
The apartment is small - advertised up to 4 people but that is a massive stretch. We had to put our bags and ski bags on the balcony - no way to fit inside and there was only 2 of us so 4 people would be a struggle. The dining room table folds up against the wall - when it is down there is very little room for manoeuvrability. The furniture and beds have seen better days and really needs updating, the bathroom has had a bit of a spruce up and the shower is good. The kitchen only has a combi microwave so limited on oven cooking. There are some hangers in the cleaning/blanket cupboard And 3 drawers under the bedbunks - that’s it for storage. As with all French ski rental apartments there is nothing there cleaning wise so you need to take EVERYTHING with you - tea towels, cleaning cloths, dishwasher tablets - I have been before so knew what to expect. Noise levels - because the bunk beds are at the front door you hear everything throughout the night - people returning to their apartments for example.
