The Castle on Tamborine

It was very unique

The bed was uncomfortable

The place is absolutely beautiful! It felt like living in a real castle!

There were several bugs and insects, however thats is very expected when staying in the Mt Tamborine area. Nothing the staff can do. Just expect a few little friends during your stay.

One of the most magical stays in the SE QLD region. Castle on Tambourine is everything you expect it to be and more. Spacious accommodation, quiet, tranquil, amazing room fitouts, comfy bed and all the amenities you desire, including a Spa that feels like Ancient Rome. Photos don’t do this place justice, it is a peaceful paradise with cute roaming peahens. The value for money is incredible compared to anywhere else! The breakfast is vouchers to local cafes which were delightful.

Don’t expect a sleep in, no blinds in the bathroom or door for the bathroom means sun up wake up. But it is nice if you want to get up early to take advantage of the day. The Projector also doesn’t provide the best picture and can only really be used at night due to glare! The Key Panel for entering the property also requires you to hop in and out of the car, during the pouring rain it’s less than ideal.

Uniqueness and Location The resident Peahens were very special. Pool was clean Castle wing smelt lovely. Nice touches with wine and champagne (imagine this is evolved into pricing though) however lack of Breakfast capacity for a $550 @ night accommodation lacking.

Lack of lighting of signage of accommodation especially of a night from road. Paths dark, lights not working to lodgings.Needed to use phone to see our way. Keypad to security gates not working from inside property.No lighting to keypads. Had to go through a garden and exit from external keypad to get car out. Outdoor furniture dirty so couldn't utilise in both lodgings and gardens.Mouldy and dirty.Clearly dont get cleaned. Beautiful weather would have been nice to utilise decks. Inside- very large resident cockroach emerged from the couch, now deceased. Broken toilet seat , broken dishwasher , remote to TV needed batteries. Bed was noisy everytime you turned over. Shower took forever to create hot water. Pool fountain not working. Wow for $550 @ night to not even have bed remade or fresh towells ? Freshen up? Communication on point and timely , however needing fixtures fixed to bring it up to expectations of pricing as they are major inconveniences.
