Barrieiro - Art & Nature

What is there not to love? The property is stunning, and so vast. The vineyards and nature it sits on are nothing shy of incredible. I loved staying in “the loft”!! To see the stars from the comfort of my own hot tub was therapeutic.

Nothing- seriously.

Our stay at Quinta do Barrieiro was perfect in every single way. From the deeply warm reception when we arrived to the heartfelt farewell when we left, we felt like we were part of an incredibly special, magical environment that is hard to put into words. The quality of everything here is exceptional. No detail has been overlooked. What makes this place truly unique, however, is how art and nature blend together. The property is filled with stunning, unique sculptures and art pieces that create an atmosphere unlike anywhere else we have ever stayed. It feels like living inside a beautiful, peaceful outdoor museum. If you want an experience that goes far beyond a typical apartment or hotel stay, this is it. It is a place of profound beauty, absolute peace, and unmatched hospitality.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike. Our only regret was having to leave. But, for sure, we will return.

Architecture, art, quality, view

The balcony of the reception and breakfast area is next to the balcony of the room but without privacy and view protection, therefore no full privacy while using balcony

Susanna was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice and spacious. The surroundings are beautiful.

A new shower head is defo needed in room 3! The room was not sound proof, we had 'the luck' to hear our neighbour spitting, washing himself, peeing...and more :-( The breakfast is not that great.
