Residence Muzeum Vltavínů

We stayed at Residence Muzeum Vltavínů in Cesky Krumlov for 5 nights. This stay is located in the centre of town and seconds walk from attractions, restaurants and shops. Our room was in the attic on the 3rd floor and surprisingly spacious. We loved our time here and the room met all of our expectations. The receptionist was fantastic and the room was clean and secure. There are fantastic views of the Castle through the small roof windows. This property is very old so there were no lifts just a narrow spiral stairway, a problem if you have mobility issues but was fine for us and we are in our 60s. Do not miss the Museum here, it is free for guests and well worth it. Highly recommend this stay and would happily revisit again.

This accommodation in Cesky Krumlov is fantastic. It’s located right in the heart of the town with an unbeatable location. It’s only about 600 to 700 meters walk from the bus station, really close. The town is small, so staying here is super convenient. I visited the castle both in the morning and evening. It’s easy to get up early to watch the sunrise and enjoy the sunset and beautiful night lights here. There is a famous pork knuckle restaurant just 120 meters away. The local pork knuckle tastes absolutely amazing. It is a must-try delicacy here, highly recommended. Thank you so much!

Great location right off the main square. Staff allow you to store luggage there.

The apartment is old, tired and unclean. Furnishings need an update, linens need to be replaced. Cobwebs and spider webs everywhere, old fake eyelashes on shower wall, uncomfortable bed, limp pillow.
