Mohammed, great guy, great family. Felt very welcome. The location is quite rural, but that makes part of the charm. And Mohammed will help with everything that might occurs

Misinterpret the blanket as a towel, so spent a cold night. But really can’t blame them, for me not properly checking 😂

Was a amazing place and views close to loads of history the host was fantastic and looked after you and sorted us a car/driver for the day very reasonable rate took us out for a full day of site seeing ordered us great food at night

It's well located if you want to visit Sakkara. The room was clean and the size was okay. Check in was easy and breakfast (bread, eggs, cheese, falafel) was good. The terrace is very nice. The owner speaks good english.

There was no WiFi. The door to the balcony didn't shut properly and there was a party in the backyard of the neighbours, so it was very loud. There are no restaurants in that area and the whole neighbourhood is really dirty. We ordered two Koshari and one Kofta with rice for dinner at the hotel. The lady couldn't tell us the price as this is her husband's responsability. The food was okay, served in delivery boxes. At the checkout the next day Mohammed told us that dinner was 10 Dollar per person (the 3 bed room was 21 $ per night). In two weeks in Egypt we have never paid more than one Dollar for a Koshari! After a short discussion we paid 20 Dollar for the three meals - still way too much. I perceived it as very disrespectful - not a good way how to treat your guests.

The rooftop offers a great view of 2 different pyramids including Saqqara Pyramid. The breakfast was good as well. The room was average nothing standing out. We were offered water, tea and some fruits as a nice gesture.

Its far from the main Giza pyramids about 25 min by car which can be nice to relax but there's nothing around. No restaurants, no stores either. They are not offering wifi, so you better have data to organize your transportation. The host offered to made us dinner. We asked for the price but was told don't worry, I will let you know later when I figure out the price. We then agreed, dinner for 2 was served it was very good. But to our surprise upon check out we were charged 30us for it. It is a bit expensive for Egypt considering that it was homemade. We were face with some attitude by the owner and made us feel uncomfortable to a point that we wanted to rush our check out. We were also offered a private driver for the day to see the Saqqara pyramids and a museum to our surprise he was asking 75us ... we ended up finding same thing online for 15us.
