A perfect relaxing stay with amazing host and staff!

Besides the accommodation being absolutely lovely and beautiful, the owner and staff (+ Paco the dog, not to forget!) are amazing! Amazing stay

Everything!! The location was quiet and out of the way but only a 5-10 minute bike ride to the lively town with plenty of food and drink options. The room was gorgeous, so spacious and clean. we loved the outdoor shower. The pool on the property was great. We had breakfast included which was delicious! Special thankyou to Lita, Nona and the rest of the staff members who went above and beyond to ensure our comfortable stay. They were so friendly and we genuinely loved chatting to them. We’d love to come back one day!!

Wonderful time

The rooms, the swimming pool, the quiet, the close location to Uluwatu and the staff. A great place to visit the peninsula. The villas are even better than the rooms, highly recommended. Simple cheap breakfast was also perfect to start the day.

Wish our stay was longer!

La Kreyiol was fantastic and our room was very nice. We actually checked out early from our original hotel which was very unpleasant :( but boy were we lucky to find La Kreyiol on booking.com last minute! We were blown away with the room cleanliness, hygiene, facilities and staff making the experience so worthwhile. We wished we had stayed longer!

We stayed in the villa for 2 nights and enjoyed the private pool. The location is close to Uluwatu Beach and the temple, and it’s surrounded by nature in a jungle setting.

Because the villa is in the jungle, there were constant animal sounds (possibly geckos), so it wasn’t very quiet. On the second afternoon, we found a baby python on the bed, likely due to the location. We were uncomfortable staying, so the owner refunded one night and we left. Breakfast was okay but not sufficient for one person.

Amazing serenity spot

It's a very nice quiet little spot. The pool in the morning is very nice to take a dip in. The staff are super friendly. I would definitely recommend this spot. The shower is really rustic which we liked.

Location is ok. Just takes a while for the taxi people to come get you so order early.

Peaceful tropical escape - wish I could’ve stayed longer

Such a gorgeous villa. Comfy beds, beautiful decor, cold aircon, gorgeous outdoor shower. The pool area was divine, surrounded by flowers and had the gorgeous golden retriever running around. It was heaven. So quiet and peaceful. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of main Uluwatu, but still only a 7 minute scooter in. Staff were very kind and accomodating, special shoutout to Lita and Nona.

Great stay

We were really well treated at La Kreyiol. The owners also live there so you can talk with them or the staff everyday if you have questions. There were many mosquitos so we asked for a insect net and they installed in the room, thank you! The Villas are big and the private pool in Villa 1 is great. The surroundings are nice for a very early walk. The breakfast is good! We recommend it :)

It is a bit far but the roads can be taken by taxi car driver or an expert motorbike driver! Enjoy there!

Beautiful accommodation

My husband and I booked La Kreyiol for 2 nights but wish it could have been more. The team helped arrange transport from the airport to the accommodation. It was 350K (a little bit expensive than Grab or Gojek services but you are paying for convenience and assurance that someone will be there to pick you up, as the airport is very busy and no doubt these apps will be busy too, so you wouldn't know how long you would have to wait for a driver). As soon as we landed I received a WhatsApp message from the driver, telling us where he'd be located and a picture pinpointing the location. He was very friendly, polite and helped us with check in (we got there at 10pm and guess that other staff had gone home). We booked one of the villas. It was spacious, minimalist, clean, with a kitchen and a private pool! You could tell that a lot of care and thought were put into the decor. Nico and his team especially Nona, who made us breakfast each day were very friendly. She even helped arrange to buy some Balinese coffee after we enjoyed it so much and enquired about the breakfast coffee that was served. It was very delicious! This villa is perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy tranquility, peace and the sounds of nature.

There were a few bugs and geckos about but the venue is amongst nature so it is expected.

Hidden gem in the heart of Ulus

A hidden sanctuary a short ride/drive to the beaches and busy areas of uluwatu. This is our 3rd stay and continues to be our fave place to stay in ulus. The charming rooms, the staff, pool, the Isaya boutique, and shared break out areas are peaceful - a quiet hidden gem! Thanks again to the whole team at La Kreyiol.

Great hideaway at a fair value with amazing service in Uluwatu!!

Everything was perfect! from the airport pick up, arranged by the hotel, the room was fresh, the ac was on, breakfast was a simple morning delight! The place was serene, was fortunate to meet Nico the owner, who runs this place with a passion and that says it all ! Would love to be back soon :)

can't fault much here, the bathroom and toilet could do with clothes hanging hooks, would make it easy in the shower! a dental kit would do great, as it takes a bit to ride out and find a shop for a toothbrush and paste, but that's something I normally carry, only this time I slipped up ...

Amazing Stay at La Kreol – Uluwatu

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at La Kreol! It was by far the best place we stayed at during our trip to Indonesia. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling and happy to help with anything we needed. They also offer scooter rentals, which made it super convenient to explore the area. The vibe of the place is amazing – relaxed, free-spirited, and peaceful. It’s the perfect spot to unwind. Breakfast was delicious, too!

The only downside was that we only stayed for two nights... but we will definitely be coming back! ❤️

We stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon, and from the moment we checked in we felt so welcomed. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, the amazing staff, and of course Paco — the best dog ever! The location is perfect: peaceful, quiet, and beautifully relaxing. Our room was always spotless, and the facilities were fantastic. The pool and bar area quickly became our favorite spot to unwind. This place truly feels like a home away from home. The family vibe made our stay so special, and Nengah was an absolute rockstar — I’m convinced we’re brothers now! Beautiful stay in the beautiful Uluwattu

I really like how clean and beautifully the hotel was maintained. We booked the private villa with the pool and everything was just ad described on the listing. Really loved the stay, Niko and the team were really nice hosts. They made our stay very enjoyable. I really loved the projector in the room aswell. Helped me and my wife to relax and watch a movie at night

It was difficult to get taxi to the location using grab and gojek as the location was confusing when putting into the app

BEST STAY IN ULUWATU. BOOK IT.

Nico and his staff are not only perfects hosts, but amazing human beings. I am only sad we spent just one night but everything and I repeat EVERYTHING was perfect. Location close to everything but out of the crowd. Rooms beautiful with every you need. we had private swimming pool and also small kitchen we did not use. Breakfast as well complete and satisfying. Quiet location, easy to get anywhere on scooter, comfortable and the most gracious hosts.

We loved our Villa, it was so spacious and comfortable. The pool was amazing both in our villa and out in the common. The gardens were beautiful too. Owner Niko and his staff Nyunga, Noona and Badi were the most gracious hosts, ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. They gave great recommendations, advice on beaches and travel routes and even entertained us at the bar one night. Thanks so much guys we will be back!

A Little Paradise I’ll Never Forget!!!!

This was my best stay on Bali – I only wish it had been longer! The owner was absolutely wonderful and gave me such a warm and friendly welcome. I really appreciated the free beers – such a thoughtful gesture! The staff were amazing – so kind, open, and always ready to help. Special greetings to Nonaa – you made my stay even more special! The whole place felt like home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

What didn’t I like? Honestly, just one thing – that my stay was too short. That’s what I regret the most!

We absolutely loved our stay in Uluwatu! This was hands down our favorite hotel during our entire trip through Indonesia. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and welcoming. The rooms were super clean, the pool was perfect for relaxing, and the location was excellent – close to everything we needed. What really made the stay special was the warm and open vibe from both the staff and the owner. Everyone was so kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. A special mention goes to the cutest golden retriever who lives there – such a sweet and well-behaved good boy! He made our stay even more memorable. We also appreciated the option to rent scooters directly from the hotel, which made exploring the area super easy. All in all, just a fantastic experience – we’d definitely come back!

Feel yourself at home

The street outside is nice and clean (which is unlikely in Bali) Also the place is full of nature, with a pleasant pool. The staff is really amazing, the girl from Komodo (i can’t remember her name sorry) and Nyoma the driver, those both were very kind all the time. Also the owner Nico and of course the star Paco. Our villa was gorgeous and we will come back for sure.

We heard everynight a noise on the roof which distirbed our sleep, but this is not the place’s fault.

Home away from Home!

The property is absolutely stunning. My room faced the pool, which was a very nice view to wake up to. The outdoor shower is such a special touch for the whole Bali experience, especially from NYC! The owner and his girlfriend were super friendly and very helpful. The staff was so warm and welcoming, very willing to go that extra mile for your comfort. The distance to the central area where shops, cafes, restaurants, and Thomas beach is a short scooter ride (about 7-10 minutes), so you're close to everything, yet in a nice quiet area.
