Convenient for local ski bus and could walk down from Petite Skieur. Very friendly hotel manager. Excellent breakfast. We met people that had been staying here each year for many years. Overall good value.

The perfect ski hotel

This is just the perfect, small hotel for skiing. Nice breakfast in the morning. Short walk to the ski slopes. Good ski room with boot warmers. Comfortable room. Spotlessly clean room with immaculate house-keeping. Susanna, the host, is very friendly, very helpful and has great local knowledge.

A gem close to the piste.

Italian generosity at its best. Wonderful hotel, clean and cosy rooms, great breakfast. Situated close the piste and lifts. Susanna was a great hostess; nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a great stay at Hotel du Glacier!

The hotel was in a great location close to the slopes by foot and a free shuttle bus directly to them. The hotel was also close to the town by foot. Susanna gave us great recommendations for restaurants and bars. She also gave us information about ski equipment rental and ski passes. The breakfast was very good. There was a great selection of fruits, pastries, cereal, yoghurts, juices, cold meats and cheeses. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate available every morning, made freshly.

Great location for me as right on Alta Via 2 trail I was hiking. Supplied me with toothpaste to replace my lost tube.. Told me about a shortcut to continue my route without having to walk through town. Great well equipped room.

* Very beautiful location. * I could check in already at 1 PM. * The room was relatively big and cool on a hot summer day. * There was a balcony with small laundry rack. * The bed was very comfortable. I slept very well. * The table for working with my laptop. * Excellent breakfast.

Great breakfast, super friendly staff and room was immaculately clean. Susanna was extremely helpful and booked dinner for us each evening at local restaurants that were all great!! Would definitely stay there again.

Exceptional

Everything was perfect ! Super location right at the middle of La Thuile with ample parking spaces ! Susanna was an amazing host, and made sure that everything was ok! she even gave us various ideas on where to go and what to see, and we surely weren't disappointed to follow her advice. There is also an excellent restaurant "La Tata", just 2 mins from the hotel by foot. Everything was spotless and super clean everyday! Apart from Susanna, the lady serving breakfast and coffee was also super sweet and always smiling ! We cannot wait to visit again in Winter ! :)

Good location and very nice and helpful staff. Free parking in garage for motorcycles. Just 5min walk is a restaurant Lo Tata which offers very delicious local food. Thank you very much!

Highly recommend staying at the Hotel du Glacier in La Thuile!

The owners are wonderful hosts and understand what customer service means. We were treated very well and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The location is excellent because it is just outside the town but close enough to walk to the center for restaurants and to the chairlifts for excursions up the mountain. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept on in a while and the bathroom was big and clean. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The breakfast was very good too. Oh, and they have underground parking for free. Another great bonus.

Susanna was an excellent host Booking us in at the near by restaurants which were fantastic She also keep me up together with ice packs when I hurt my leg The Hotel was immaculate and breakfast more then enough A ski bus stops outside but it’s only a 5 minute walk to the main lifts

L’ho trovata accogliente, la stanza pulita ed ordinata. Il personale molto disponibile, sempre pronto a soddisfare i bisogni del cliente.

Il personale è stato molto gentile e accogliente, venendo incontro alle nostre esigenze anche oltre ciò cui fosse tenuto. Questo hotel offre uno standard alberghiero ormai poco comune, specie nelle strutture a conduzione familiare. Colazione ricca e di qualità. Nel complesso buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Qualche aspetto legato al comfort delle stanze è migliorabile. La temperatura in stanza non è regolabile ed è stata durante il nostro soggiorno troppo alta. La luce dell'abat jour è un po troppo forte. L'insonorizzazione delle stanze non è perfetta.

Abbiamo trascorso 10 giorni meravigliosi in questa struttura, che è diventata il nostro rifugio perfetto dopo le lunghe giornate di esplorazione della Valle d'Aosta. La posizione è strategica, la camera pulita e confortevole, ma a fare la vera differenza è stata Susanna, la proprietaria. Una persona semplicemente deliziosa, sempre attenta, sorridente e piena di consigli preziosi. La sua accoglienza calorosa ci ha fatti sentire veramente a casa e ha aggiunto un valore inestimabile alla nostra vacanza. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca non solo un ottimo hotel, ma anche un'atmosfera umana e genuina. Torneremo sicuramente!

Alles war top. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Die Inhaber sind sehr nett gewesen. Auf Nachfrage hat sich der Hotelinhaber darum gekümmert, dass wir im Ort in einem Restaurant zu Abend essen können. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und haben alles was man benötigt. Wir sind mit Motorrädern gereist und konnten unsere Motorräder kostenlos in der Garage abstellen.

Absolut lohnend, gerne wieder!

Abstellraum für Fahrräder Das Zimmer war extrem sauber, Bad komplett renoviert und sehr geräumig. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und das betreibende Ehepaar war sehr aufmerksam und symphatisch.
