Caples Court Motel & Apartments

Nice and clean! It was also really warm and had heated blankets which was helpful. New towels each day was also really nice. Grateful to be upgraded so it added to the experience.

Location is great. 5 -6 mins downhill to Queenstown Mall. The 2 bedroom apartment had plenty of space for 4 of us and it was comfortable. The staff were lovely and really helpful if you popped to reception. The shower pressure was reasonably good. It had plenty of heaters and stayed warm. The air con unit didn't work - fine for winter but needs fixing before summer. (Apartment 5).

The apartments are old and need a freshen up inside. That's ok but it was quite dirty - we moved a bed to plug in an electric blanket and it clearly hadn't been cleaned underneath any time recently! The windows are old aluminium double glazed but, in the bedrooms, they get really wet inside overnight. That has caused mould on the seals and around the edge. The kitchen tiles were lightly splattered with someone else's cooking. If you don't look closely it's fine. We didn't come to Queenstown to hang around in a motel so it didn't bother us much.

Comfortable bed, warm & clean

I needed to descend & climb stairs. I could have asked for help but didn’t. TV channels limited. Internet available but not secure so unable to access TV via my iPad.

Was overly priced, small room, bathroom was weirdly positioned ( less space in toilet). Water pressure in the shower was very low. But the view of QT from top room was amazing (only room # 1,2,3). I don’t think you’ll get the similar view from any other rooms. 10 min or less walk to the city centre was very handy. Basically paid for the view only!

Less privacy as you can see in others room through the larger glass placement. But the view of QT from top room was amazing (only room # 1,2,3).
