About this cabin rental
The Country Haven Lodge is a great choice for those looking for a quiet more private place to vacation. If your get-a-way means getting away from the crowds and getting back to nature and yourself, come stay and enjoy the comfortable, quiet surroundings! The lodge is next door to our home but still quiet as we don't bother you. We are only about 30 minutes from the lake and all of it's offerings. Ha Ha Tonka State Park is about 15 minutes away as well as many other attractions. Enjoy the busy things in the area then come back to the quite to grill your supper or just sit and look out at the Ozark hills and relax.
We have a 15X30 above ground pool, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, for our guests enjoyment! (Approx. 4' deep throughout.) It's 12X20 deck is connected to the back porch for privacy and convenience. So, swim or sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful view while relaxing with loved ones!
The lodge is set on our working farm that has cattle and chickens. You might get to see some cows and baby calves and hear a rooster crow!
1200 Square feet on two floors.
Two bedrooms upstairs with king beds.
The lodge kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and silverware. The frig has an ice maker and there is a dishwasher, stove, oven and microwave, toaster and coffee maker. All you will need to bring is the food! There is also a gas BQ grill if you would like to use that.
42' TV with Roku and a DVD player.
Great cell phone reception.
Sorry no pets allowed and no smoking in the lodge. There will be lawn mowing part of the time as the property does have to be maintained for your comfort and enjoyment!
We limit our guests, including anyone you might invite for an evening, to 6 guests including children and babies. No extra invited guests without prior consent of the property owners.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time here. The property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It had everything we needed, and the location was perfect for a peaceful relaxing stay. We loved the visits from Pepper and Snooks, our kids are still talking about them days later. Communication with the host was easy, and check-in and check-out were smooth. You couldn't ask for a better host. Sheila and Don are the greatest! We'd definitely recommend this property to others and would be happy to stay here again.

This was our second year at the cabin and it just does not disappoint. I cannot begin to say enough about Shelia and everything she provides and does for her guests. Truly goes above and beyond and then some!!! The cabin is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and is absolutely immaculate. The pool is beautiful and also immaculately kept. It was very refreshing and relaxing on the hot sunny days. I also have to add in about Pepper and Snooks. They are the best host fur babies and just enjoy hanging out with us on the deck. They really make leaving our own animals at home. We did venture out and went to Ha Ha Tonka for a short walk. Very beautiful, but we much prefer just to hang around the cabin/farm, watch wildlife, enjoy the pool and porch and the absolute peace and quiet that surrounds them. We are already booked for next year and are anxiously counting down the days. Shelia is just one of the sweetest people and I very much enjoy talking with her. You will NOT find another hostess that puts in more time and love than her. Truly a wonderful person!
