I wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff were friendly and prompt

The room we had was overpriced for what it was and no extras were included. The room facilities were average. Parking was charged on top at $52 extra and for a $650 one night stay, I expected more. Free breakfast would have been nice for the price. The room hardly had a ‘city view’. Still yet to receive my bond back which is hugely frustrating considering. Please follow up on this asap.

Lovely stay great location

Location was great. In house restaurant la Marée was so nice especially the breakfast. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating.

If I had to say one thing I think I’d upgrade my room next time to be over the water side as the road was very noisy at night outside our room. Also had to clean the coffee machine before I could use it.

It was ok but I’m not sure we would stay again.

The location was good and it was clean the staff were also very friendly.

Our fridge was turned off in the room so the drinks were warm. The Tv is very awkwardly placed so it’s hard to watch from the sofa or the bed without turning it and even then was awkward. The full buffet breakfast was very expensive for the quality and selection.

Extremely disappointed

We were given a free bottle of wine to celebrate our 7th anniversary.

Toilet did not flush peoperly and was constantly blocking. Hotel room was quite dated and worn. But the worst part was the expensive breakfast buffet. Eggs we completely undercooked and tasteless, the bread that came with them appeared to just be brushed with Canola or something equally as gross. The bread selection was old and mostly very stale. Bacon was well overcooked and overall apart from fruit, cereals and juices, the selection was very poor.

I thought the balcony faced unto the harbour. Balcony furniture was dirty but that was not an issue, I wiped it clean.

It was a nice weekend away but I wouldn't go back

The bed was comfortable and the staff were nice to deal with and helpful.

We booked a relaxing staycation of chilling out. Aside from the AC not working, I would say the place is looking a bit tired in general and the decor is quite out of date. The room looked onto the bus station which we didn't realise prior to booking and was quite noisy with the door open which you needed as the AC wasn't working. The tv faces in a different direction so we rearranged the room while we were there so we could watch some tv We ordered a cheeseboard with room service and all the crackers were stale, so I phoned and let them know so they delivered more to our room which were even more stale (which we laughed about). I left my shampoo and conditioner in the room by accident so I phoned them the following day to see if I could come and get them but they (apparently) hadn't found them and said they would have another look and contact me again but I never heard back from them after that. Overall not really worth the amount we spent.

Great hotel close to marinas

When I want to be sure to have a truly comfortable hotel, I love going to the Sofitel. Spacious rooms, bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Swimming pool, fitness. Didn't have time to use the spa. Excellent breakfast, with freshly squeezed orange juice.

I was informed about the issues with the air conditioning system, so this was no surprise and didn't affect my stay. My room had the view over the bus park and only partial views of the harbour.

Christmas Magic in Every Corner

We recently stayed at this hotel with my son, Stephen, and it was an unforgettable experience! The Christmas decorations were absolutely stunning, creating such a magical and cozy atmosphere. Every corner of the hotel was aesthetically pleasing, and I couldn’t resist capturing beautiful photos and videos to remember the moment. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful service throughout our visit, everything was perfect. Wonderful Stay at the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbor

We had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbor. The location right on the water in Viaduct Harbor was perfect. The hotel facilities are excellent, including the room and spa. The breakfast buffet food selection was extensive and everything was wonderful. Finally, all staff were very helpful and friendly.

Staff lacked service orientation. Not overly welcoming when we arrived at around 10pm. Hardly any staff. Noisy room with a view to an office renovation site that kept lights on thru the night. Requests to change room, and offer an interior room for an extra $ 75/day. Went for breakfast and had to request my wife’s coffee three times before it finally came almost when we were done. The closest too small for a six day Room has no place to seat comfortably. The cleaning signs and cones where at the small lobby by the elevator the full 6 days we where there

VERY MUCH ENJOYED OUR STAY, IT WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND TIDY IN OUR ROOM & WHEN IT CAME TO CHECKOUT DAY MY PARTNER AND I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE LEAVING JUST YET, WE WERE ACTUALLY CONSIDERING TO EXTEND OUR STAY ANOTHER NIGHT 😅 WE SOON THEN REALIZED WE HAD TO GET BACK TO REALITY. THE SOFITEL STAFF WERE ABSOLUTELY LOVELY, GREAT VIBES, ALWAYS WERE WELCOMING AND ALSO REASSURED IF THEIR WAS ANYTHING WE NEEDED JUST TO ASK THEM . WE LOVED IT.
