We had an incredible 4-night stay at Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge. The hospitality was warm, the food was delicious, and the game drives were world-class.
A massive shout-out to Given, whose exceptional care, attention to detail, and warmth truly made our trip special—he went above and beyond for us every day. Equal thanks to Suitboy, our guide, whose deep knowledge and tracking skills made every safari unforgettable.
If you want an authentic, intimate, and magical Kruger safari, Hoyo Hoyo is the place to go. We can’t wait to come back!

The staff are the gold stars of this property. Their service is five star plus! The elephant troupe that wanders near the main lodge every couple of days are also very special! And the food was nothing short of amazing!

The staff is wonderful, food is fabulous. Very beautiful property. Safari drives are wonderful.
For $1000USD a night I would have appreciated a room that didn’t flood every time you take a shower. This was VERY disappointing to learn this is a known issue and they continue to book people into this room.
