Delightful Provençal boutique hotel and restaurant with pool

The hotel is a short walk from the pedestrian access points to climb up to Les Baux, but the hordes of tourists do not impinge in the slightest. The hotel is quite small and very quiet with delightful gardens and an excellent (heated) outdoor pool. Each room has access to a small terrace. We dined in the restaurant every evening of our stay and enjoyed it enormously. Part of the restaurant was originally a cave and singular. Delightful, friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Authentic Provençal,Friendly and welcoming

The setting is lovely. So close to the village but also so secluded. Beautiful views from the hotel. Very Provençal feel to everything.

A wonderful stay near the historic town

The hotel has a beautiful classic french charming style. There is a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere, and a nice garden. The swimming pool was heated - we regret, that we did not know in advance. The receptionist lady was very kind and welcoming and took time to show us around in the hotel. We had a beautiful room with a terrace. The best arrival at a hotel ever experienced around the world. And in addition a charming decorated restaurant with delicious food.

Highly recommended!

Wonderful hotel in perfect location. We only stayed for one night but will certainly come back again. The scenary around the hotel is spectacular, the rooms are lovely and the staff is ever so friendly. Great breakfast, and what a charming restaurant!

Overall, a great place to stay!

The location was exceptional and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner menu only included 2 options per course, but it featured local produce and wine and was very well presented.

The grounds could do with a bit of a tidy-up, particularly the outdoor tables.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful position nestled amongst the typical Alpilles rocks in the hills, giving the property a gorgeous scenery. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the view at sunset. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. Parking is included. Very close walk to the town. Would love to come back in the summer to better enjoy the outdoor facilities.

Breakfast was good but a little pricey.

A very pretty location within walking distance of the castle. Lovely terraced gardens with beautiful views. The restaurant was unique and the food and wine was fantastic.

Overrated and hugely disappointing!

We had a warm welcome. Comfortable bed.

Room to small and very expensive for what it is. You could not wash properly as both the plugs for the bath and sink did not work, the water just went straight out. When we ran the hot water it was cold. I went to reception and was subsequently advised to leave the tap running for 5 minutes until it ran hot, after about 10 minutes of doing this, it eventually became warm...………..not really the way to run a business as not eco friendly or cost considerate. The room floor was not clean. The restaurant meal and wine pricing was high. We had to pay per person 16 euros for breakfast, which was awful.

Hôtel ayant du cachet, très propre avec des endroits installés pour se reposer et boire un verre. Le site est magnifique et enchanteur, au pied du village des Baux et à deux pas des Carrières de Lumières. Un service attentionné, discret et efficace. Un petit déjeuner très copieux, un restaurant gastronomique aux saveurs originales et délicieuses. C'est notre 2ème séjour dans cet hôtel de charmes, nous y reviendrons encore !

Décevant !

Très beau cadre, le personnel charmant et nourriture excellente

Très déçu par la chambre qui était assez vétuste, la robinetterie de la sd bain qui menace de nous rester dans les mains chaque fois que l'on s'en sert,les portes qui grincent, pas d'aération dans les WC, antenne de tv qui ne tient pas et déco de la chambre à revoir pour le prix demandé. Malheureusement c'est souvent le cas lorsque l'on réserve par Booking, on nous donne les plus mauvaises chambres, je vais donc arrêter de passer par Booking.

le PARADIS aux Baux

Vaste chambre, très confortable et spacieuse, avec un coin salon, une grande table de travail, une séparation être les les deux zones, une petite terrasse adorable ET la plus belle vue du monde sur la vallée des Baux et les Alpilles. Une grd salle de bain toute équipée, magnifique douche, un toilette séparé, (sympa). Le restaurant et sa terrasse avec cette vue est une enchantement, le cadre est unique, une vieille bastide, des roches a vif qui se mêlent au bloc de calcaire, le jardin provençal (et soigné) font de cet endroit un véritable paradis. Le petit chemin dans la garrigue, qui mène au village des baux, á pied, est d'une poésie unique. Je recommande très vivement a ceux qui veulent, comme on dit chez nous; de l’authentique.

Le personnel, très aimable, discret, accueillant et à l'écoute. L'établissement de toute beauté. Le site vraiment magnifique, l'hôtel est le mieux situé de tous directement au pied des Baux de Provence. La cuisine absolument divine. Le calme (petit hôtel, bien insonorisé).

La chambre supérieure est vraiment petite pour le tarif mais aussi pour la catégorie de l'hôtel (mais c'est un problème récurrent à mon avis en France métropolitaine). Seulement une petite bouteille d'eau offerte à l'arrivée pour deux personnes.

Une étape incontournable au plus près des Baux de Provence

Tout ! L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter les Baux de Provence. Accessible en 5 min. A pied ! Une lettre de bienvenue et les instructions attendaient notre arrivée tardive en dehors des heures de réception. Le soir vous avez une vue extraordinaire sur les vestiges de la forteresse. Le dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel, sous les arbres, était tout à fait à notre goût, des plats créatifs et frais. Les prix sur la cartes nous ont parus raisonnables et le service était attentionné. Nous avons opté pour le petit déjeuner. Le buffet proposait un LARGE choix avec un accent sur la saisonnalité et des produits locaux de qualité. Un jus d’orange pressé minute est proposé dès votre arrivée. Le terrain de boules est à l’ombre d’un grand chêne et la piscine avec chaises longues invite à se relaxer. Allez-y vous serez charmés.

Emplacement exceptionnel avec vue sur les collines et la verdure. Mas charmant, personnel adorable et serviable, piscine mignonne et entourée de verdure, bonne literie et chambre fraîche et provençale. Le restaurant vaut le coup (et le coût), les plats sont raffinés et frais et le vin est de qualité. Bref, un super séjour !

Personnel accueillant et chambre très confortable

Piscine non adaptée au lieu, vétuste et surtout décentrée par rapport au bâtiment principal … ça ne donne pas envie de s’y rendre Mas annoncé comme chaleureux et authentique. Malheureusement le bâtiment est une grosse bâtisse reprenant plusieurs autres bâtiments dont des logements de type résidence pour des riverains ou autres. Donc pas du tout intime ni chaleureux . L’éloignement du centre ville oblige également à un déplacement en véhicule . Résultat général, fort déçu d’autant que le prix est pour un 4 étoiles mais ça ne correspond pas du tout .

Prachtige locatie om Les Baux en de Provence te verkennen. Stijlvol hotel met familiale sfeer en uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Top restaurant met variërend menu en heerlijke wijnsuggesties. Mooie kamers met balkon en weids zicht. Verzorgd zwembad in groene tuin.

Que c'est beau à Baux!

Le lieu est MAGNIFIQUE. Les jardins, la terrasse, le restaurant, la piscine: c'est un endroit fabuleux. Je suis végane et la cuisine a adapté le menu afin de respecter ma diète. Nous avons profité de la majorité des installations. Je recommande fortement l'endroit.
