Menir Apartments

The accommodation is fully equipped, comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. It is clear that the owners run it with all their heart and soul. They are incredibly kind, warm and friendly people. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the portions were generous.

Apartamentul foarte curat, bine utilat, situat într-o zonă liniștită, la poalele muntelui. Gazde foarte amabile și primitoare. Ne-am simțit excelent și recomandăm cu drag.

The view was the best thing about the place. The old man who greeted us and served breakfast was really nice (probably the owner's dad).

The breakfast was one of the biggest disappointments (especially after reading some older reviews): - we received some cold plates with things that seemed to have been prepared the night before (a cut tomato, some feta, some slices of ham, etc) - the fried eggs were microwaved (those were probably made the night before) - the bread was not fresh There is a lovely pastry shop 7 min away by car. If they could serve something from there, they could save the breakfast. The place is outdated: - the furniture is pretty old - the bed was really uncomfortable, especially for 2 people. The mattress doesn't stay in place if someone moves; we ended up sleeping separately) - one balcony door was not working properly - the toilet brush needs to be replaced (you can imagine how an old, used toilet brush looks and what it has on it...) - few cosmetic products for 4 nights and one soap was definitely expired With some improvements regarding the bed, the breakfast and maybe the cosmetics and the water pressure, this place could find its glory days again. At this point, I don't recommend it and we would not go back there.
