The room had everything a person would need, a nice bathroom and a little kitchen. Very central and convenient.

The room was smaller than advertised, basically it was another room. Overall it was nice and clean, but the bedding was a little bit smelly.

Was just OKAY but would not go back there and not recommend it

Location was great

Not accomodating staff arrived half hour early, was raining they wouldn’t allow check in! No where to wait out of weather! No option to store luggage we are travelling around the world so luggage is heavy to lug around! Bed was to close to wall could walk around it! No top sheet and one small thin quilt that didn’t cover mattress! No instructions to use washing machine dials in Finnish! Heater was too hot couldn’t alter it!!!

The toilet had poop from the persons before us... The house is depressing For the price I expected a lot more The check out was at 10am max, for the price and by analizing the state we found the house in, I guess they dont need that much time to clean the place Also, the bedsheets were way smaller then the bed so one of us was allways cold... The bathroom floor wasnt heated and kinda gross It doesnt have an oven

Great location, comfy apartment, couple of caveats

The Citykoti apartments are very conveniently located in the Kamppi area of the city center. The check-in process using PIN codes is handy. The apartment was comfortable and has all necessary amenities even for a longer stay.

The bathroom is relatively small, so be mindful of that. Also, the check-out time of 10am is unnecessarily early.

Great stay, but crazy neighbour distroyed the last night’s sleep.

Nice, but very small apartment. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a washing machine. Central location. And the staff is helpful and easy to reach.

The neighbour upstairs in flat no.55 (right above Citykoti’s flat no 50) was playing loud music in the middle of the night at 1 am! I could not sleep the last night, went upstairs and knocked on the door, but the person didn’t open it and continued listening to loud music at least 35-40 more! I couldn’t find any Jour number. But is it possible that you can tell about the incident to the landlord? It’s forbidden to make any noises in the property after 22.00. And this person started playing music at 1 am, the night from Sunday to Monday (17-18/8). Earlier the same person played loud music 8 am on Saturday morning. Also very disturbing. In the apartment: the floor lamp’s main bulb didn’t work. Please, change it.

Great studio apartment in heart of Helsinki

Great location near city centre. Great well equipped kitchenette handy to make own meals. Loved that I was able to just walk everywhere. 1km to central railway station and downtown. Also several supermarkets within walking distance.

Nothing much not to like. The previous guests had left dirty dishes in dishwasher so I had to wash them. Would have preferred not to have to do that and for the cleaning staff to have sorted that before my arrival.

Good location, but items out of reach for people who aren't tall.

Tram stop was a short walk away, with a 3 stop ride to the train station and a 5 stop ride to the downtown shopping area. South facing windows so the blackout shade and table fan were both appreciated. Did not use the washing machine but if I had instructions would have been helpful. Since my apartment was on the top floor (6) the elevator was helpful going up although I chose to walk down when I didn't have my bags.

Being 5'1" tall (1.55m) I could not reach many of the amenities. For example, coffee pot, cereal bowls, drying rack, hooks. The bar stools available would not have been safe, so a folding stool would have been useful. Also, I had instant coffee with me, but even after scrubbing the kettle myself, it was still nasty, so had to go out and pay extra for my morning coffee.

Getting the key to the apartment and finding the building wasn’t easy . It was stressful to say the least . Also 2 days lift wasn’t working .

Absolutely no products to clean yourself with in the shower. I had to go purchase shampoo and body soap. Only roll of toilet paper there was already half used. Checkout was earlier than most places I’ve stayed, standard wherever you go is 11am and I think theirs is 9 or 10.

Excellent spot for a stop over

A beautiful spot for a Helsinki stop over. Lovely balcony and outlook. Close to metro and trams if you don't want to walk. Plenty of great little restaurants close by if you don't want to use the excellent cooking facilities.

Unfortunately the wrong code was given to me for key collection. Standing around in the cold waiting for a message for the correct code was not a pleasant start to the stay.

Easy, simple stay for a solo traveller

The apartment being smack in the city was incredible for walking anywhere. Provided all the cooking utensils and space to make food for when I wasn’t keen on eating out. Bed was incredibly comfortable too

Good value for money.

It’s a good sized studio apartment. Opening the main door to the apartment is very challenging. Had to try many times. Pretty frustrating. When we finally got it right (push in as u turn the keys), it’s time to check out. Couldn’t find a towel floor mat for the shower to dry feet after a bath. The shower water pressure is fantastically strong. Rare gem. This makes up to the few negatives. A washing machine is a great bonus. However couldn’t find any washing detergent. Do bring your own. On the whole a cozy apt, clean, quiet and great location.

Comfortable centrally located apartment. Good value for your money.

Comfortable centrally located apartment. Not super fancy but for what you are paying, it definitely meets (and exceeds in some areas) expectations. Equipped with amenities you need for a long stay (dishes, towels, cutlery, ironing board etc.), a comfortable bed and a tv with a decent selection of channels. The internet connection was incredibly slow and glitchy during my first day but after unplugging and replugging the internet router, the internet became reliable and fast. Perhaps this is something the hosts should mention to guests (if internet is slow, please unplug/replug). Also, hygiene items like shower gel and shampoo are not provided. This is not an issue because these items are cheap and readible available but again, perhaps this is something the hosts should clearly mention to guests prior to check-in so that they can get what they need. Also note that they require a 200 euros deposit, which is released back to your account after you check out (provided you do not damage or steal anything). The money was released back to my account almost immediately, so they are very efficient and reliable in that regard. Overall, based on how much I paid, this was a good experience. Definitely good value for your money.

Spacious loft in an excellent location.

Excellent location, big and spacious studio, easy to find, has everything you need in the kitchen (coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher, toaster, etc), shops around the corner. Communication with hosts is very good. I’d stay there again!

It is an old property with high ceilings and bad insulated windows. Having said that, the loft was cold, specially in the evenings. They only provide a thin summer duvet so I must say that we were quite cold. It would be perfect if they could provide a thicker duvet specially in the winter months.

Small but cozy

The location was good. The furher point that I was planning to go was 30 min. walk distance. The house is quite small but as I stayed there alone, it was ok. Two people would feel a bit stuck. In general I was happy with the proporty.

I had problems messaging with the proporty before arrival. Maybe it was because of booking system, not sure. The directions to check-in could be better. They messaged number of key-holder box no 20 but it was in the box no 19! The walls are quite thin that you hear baby cry of the neighbours.

Very clean and relatively comfortable. Good location, not far from the sights and close to a shopping center. Internet was fast enough (about 10 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload). Smooth check in with detailed instructions. Good value for money overall.

Small bathroom Check out could be a little later, as 10am is rather early. But you know this beforehand.
