Last min booking. Location worked well for us on this occasion. Decor was lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Compliments to the Chef 👨‍🍳

I had specified plenty room around the bed as I'm on crutches. Sadly we didn't get this. Room 6 had hardly any space at the bottom of the bed. Since we booked last min, we didn't think we could really complain. We will return but NOT in that room 😢 ALL rooms are upstairs.

Great location, close to airport and nice breakfast. Room was nice and just about big enough for 3 people, good bathroom and shower.

Sofa bed was quite lumpy and dipped in the middle with legs going up the other side, having recently had knee surgery this wasn't ideal!

Good Choice. Exceptionally friendly welcome. Walked to my room. Great sports bar attached with TV”s at all angles. Paid cooked breakfast was exceptionally good both in taste and quantity. Walkable into Paisley. I end with what I said at the beginning “Good Choice”

Great 2 night stay at friendly pub in Paisley.

Everything was really good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, that includes the staff in the bar and restaurant and also the really helpful chambermaid. The breakfasts were amazing, the dinners were good pub food and both were a very good price. The location was also good - an easy bus journey from the centre of Paisley.

The only thing was the size of the shower room. I hit my foot against the base of the shower a couple of times as there wasn't a lot of floor space walking into the room.

I did not have breakfast , so cannot comment on it. The Restaurant food was good, but the experience of the staff was patchy - but everyone had to learn. Bringing a starter and hot main course to the table together is not good.

The single room I occupied was very small, almost claustrophobic, and incredibly hot at night, even with the windows open/fan on. Keeping the windows open was not really an option due to the incessant traffic noise, and noise from the bar, which I expected and understand- it’s a pub. I had a long journey to get to the Inn to attend a funeral, and an equally long journey the day after it, so needed a reasonable nights rest, which I did not get on either of the nights I stayed.

This is a sports bar so no getting away from tv screens and music but ok if you’re a sports fan, on a very busy main road, ear plugs were supplied which helped, ok for an overnight stay though

Way too noisy.

Comfy bed, but a very small double for the adults. Continental Breakfast was incredible.

Noisy, incredibly noisy. We stayed on a Saturday night, the pub was open until 1am. Ear plugs were provided, which were absolutely needed. The room #2 was on top of the kitchen, so you could not open window with cooking smell coming in. But the noisiest bit was the water pipes running the up through the room, which gurgled all night it seems and could be heard through the ear plugs. A shame, as everything else about the stay was really good. Slightly grumpy check in staff member, did not provide any welcome, it was a very matter of fact exchange and mis-informed us about breakfast timings. Compared to absolutely lovely breakfast staff.

Comfortable beds & good breakfasts.

Convenient location, repeat guest so happy to recommend. Stayed in Room 2 on this visit, clean but compact room at front of building. En suite shower & toilet facilities in good sized space. Rooms are all upstairs above the pub. It's not luxurious, but well beyond basic, with comfy beds. Breakfast is always delicious here; well portioned and served in the pub. Try the breakfast burger. Only 1 mile to Hawkhead Station, on an easy & direct route to walk or drive. Limited free parking on site, but not been a problem. Friendly staff and always a warm welcome.

Guests should be aware this in a city location at a junction, so there will inevitably be traffic. Earplugs in room if required, but we didn't need.
