Near to city center and everything available next to hostel

Location was great, layout was great with a big communal space

Kitchen was not very clean and someone kept stealing my food from the fridge

The location was excellent. Communal spaces very good. Room was spacious, very comfortable bed and pillows, bedside tables, charging points and a rack for hanging clothes, towels etc. The bedding was clean but clearly aged, although, for us this was not a problem at all. Fabulous local restaurant 3 doors away, the slow cooked goat was amazing. Next door to that were the most delicious samsas...the locals were queuing for them. Staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful. Shared kitchen available, a little lacking in crockery but wasn't an issue and sufficed As slightly out of season there is renovation work going on but again this wasn't a problem. Would definitely recommend if youre not to precious about cleanliness..However, if toilet paper ran out or you needed anything the staff were happy to assist and make sure we had everything we needed.

The staff explained that as out of season there was not an appointed full time cleaner, therefore, the bathrooms weren't the cleanest (men's particularly).

People who work in the hostel are nice.
