Good for short term

The breakfast was great but no cakes which is my preference with coffee for breakfast. Close to the convention centre as it was a 5-10min walk.

Very expensive for the location as a drive to the city was 20min.

Excellent staff.

This hotel is situated about 15 minutes from the city centre. It is a conference centre hotel and several conferences were taking place whilst we were there which was no problem at all. As the Bistro was not open during our stay, we were invited to dine in conference area restaurant. The selection of food from the self service buffet was exceptional as was the quality. What makes this hotel is the outstanding staff. They were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We chose this hotel as we assumed we could jump onto a tram straight into the city centre but as it poured with rain during our two days stay, we resorted to traveling by taxi!

Very bad experience

The seemed helpful, but they couldn't, or didn't resolve the problem.

Upon check-in, I immediately noticed that the window blinds in my room were fully lowered and could not be raised, leaving the room dark and with no view outside. I reported this issue to the reception and was informed it was due to the hotel's “intelligent heat management system” and that the blinds would eventually rise on their own. Unfortunately, when I returned to the room in the evening, the blinds remained down. I contacted the night desk, where the receptionist acknowledged the issue and apologized. I requested to be moved to another room but was told no clean rooms were available, despite the hotel appearing to be only half occupied. For a hotel of this standard, this was difficult to believe, and I was left with no alternative but to remain in the same room. I was reassured the issue would be addressed by the morning shift. To add to the discomfort, I was woken up at 6 a.m. by the room phone due to an uncancelled wake-up call presumably left by a previous guest. When I approached the front desk in the morning to follow up, I was surprised to find that no one had been informed about my situation—clearly, there was no handover between shifts. After explaining everything again, I was offered a complimentary breakfast as compensation, which felt inadequate given the overall experience. Ultimately, I chose to check out early and left my contact details so the hotel manager could reach out to me. Unfortunately, I have yet to be contacted. I was extremely disappointed by the lack of communication, poor handling of the situation, and the absence of any meaningful resolution.

Got tricked to pay for 2 brunches, misleading.

At breakfast we asked for vegan options and the person in charge said they have gluten free… that’s not the same. How does a person working in the culinary space doesn’t know this, then he turned around to ask in the kitchen (without telling me he was going to do this, simply leaving me there with the only vegan option being vegan butter… us paying in full for a buffet). The buffet has low value for vegan options. This is Germany , right now at ANY supermarket there are variety of vegan hams and cheeses at low cost. Unacceptable, also we asked at reception and they told us that they do have vegan options. Fruit, juice, a tomato and vegan butter should not be considered as vegan options at a BUFFET, those are sides.

Bed Comfort and cleaning was perfect. Price/Performance is very satisfying.

Everyone wrote in the comments that breakfast is perfect however it was not. It's standard hotel breakfast but definitely not better than others. It's not something makes the hotel special.

Ease of travel in and out of the city. Breakfast was excellent. Didn't really spend much time in the hotel apart from bed and breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Will try to avoid, always, hotels without 24/7 front desk populated by human beings! My friend did not have e-mail, we was extremely tired, after whole day driving (over 1000 km) and then have to type all our data, receive mail with the code in order to get another code for access… Never again!!! Breakfast very expensive. Bottle of water 8.5€!

Disappointing

The room is nice and clean. It has almost everything I need.

1. The terrible thing is that the door can be opened by anyone who have the cards, including the cleaning staff of course, even when I am having a shower! There is no way to lock the door inside to avoid unconsent access to my room. I was so scared.... standing behind the door trying to block the door to be opened and shouting that "Hey! I am having a shower! " They attempted to open my door three times!!! and I had to push back the door so that they could not open it! It was a horrible thing to me! My heart beat so fast. I have never experienced something like that in other hotels.... And I do not understand that why they wanted to clean my room before I even checked out on the day I was planning to check out. 2. Difficulty in figuring out WIFI access, it is not easy to figure out the password for the wifi as other hotels. It is not written on a piece of paper. You need to turn on the TV and it will be displayed on the TV as the reception told me. But as I turned on the TV, it has nothing written except the hotel name. I try to navigate the TV channels with the TV remoter, but the remoter does not react at all... Then I gave up and went to bed, which may be better for me that I could sleep longer. :D

Basic stay

The location to meese is great. They also have parking available and a food store nearby. Public transport is also available.

Other than location, would not recommend it. The staff at the desk is OK and helped us, but the breakfast people/staff have no knowledge of customer service. Breakfast is always the same thing. Choices are poor. The room was not cleaned one day. We came late at night and we did not want to sit in the lobby and wait, so we had only towels. The rooms are very small.
