Beautiful layout of Estate beach resort is allowing for privacy. Main pool area is a highlight, however the small beach area providing access to sea was also nice for kids to play. Terrace provides perfect view and is thus perfect spot for enjoying a cool drink. Rooms and amenitites are fully fine (beds are very good). Staff is super helpful and very friendly.

Walking to main shopping area can be a challenge while having younger kids. Beach area should be maintainted better (clean up can make it so much nicer).

Our family is grateful to all the staff. You have made our stay very comfortable.

The hotel has exceeded all expectations. The kitchen is equipped with a variety of dishes and appliances. Daily cleaning service.The territory is green, access to the sea, 4 pools, one of them 50 cm. It's like walking through a garden of paradise. There are beautiful lawns, orchids, squirrels, and a variety of birds. The hotel has a grill. Unfortunately, the beach is rocky, but there is a great long beach 5 minutes away. I would like to thank the excellent staff. We'll be back next year.

staff was amazing. took care of whatever we needed. the place really has a relax vibe to it. after 2 months travelling we needed a place to cool down and relax before heading home. it was perfect

Lovely relaxing stay.

Beautiful, helpful Staff. Amazing location, with fantastic views. Not too far to stroll into the middle of Kamala. Supermarkets close by. Gorgeous big pool, and a couple of small ones hidden away in the grounds. Now we are home, we are missing the big balcony with views to a lovely little beach. It's a perfect spot to sip your morning coffee while you watch the waves😍, or to relax with a cocktail or two 🍹🍸🍺 The private beach was cleaned every morning from any debris washed ashore 👍🤩. We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. 🙂

Unfortunately, there is room for improvement with housekeeping. The apartment would benefit from a thorough clean throughout.

"A serene, nature-filled retreat that our whole family loved."

We spent 3 wonderful weeks at Kamala Beach Estate Resort, and it was the perfect getaway for our family with two younger children. The resort is incredibly family-friendly - peaceful, safe, and surrounded by nature, with stunning views of the sea. The spacious apartment-style accommodations gave us plenty of room to relax, and the kitchen was great for preparing quick meals for the kids. The pools were amazing! The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They were always available with local recommendations, arranging transportation, and helping with anything we needed. Kamala itself is a lovely, laid-back area with everything you need close by, but the resort’s peaceful location made it feel like a private tropical hideaway.

Great place to stay

Polite and helpful staff. They let us into our room earlier. Free bottled water, excellent large and clean pool. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was comfortable and spacious. Beach was very nearby was was a 7-11 and ATM. We were only here one night but would have happily stayed for 3.

Fantastic value for money, needs a TV upgrade.

Lovely staff. The suites are huge, which makes it outstanding value for money. The balconies are massive and very well lit. The pools (both the main one and the small one available for two throughout the rooms) are just perfect and open all night which was a wonderful surprise. The grounds are just beautiful. The kitchen was the fullest we had yet. Everything was very clean and the bed was huge and super comfortable. Cozy.

There's only one, very small and old TV in the entire suite. This TV is not in the bedroom where such small screen would be slightly better, and given the living room is so spacious, it results tiny and impossible to enjoy from the couch. This sort of diminishes the use of such a good space. A new and big TV would easily solve the problem, though! The design choices in the garden room are odd. Though comfortable, the fantastic traditional structure, accents and furniture doesn't mesh with such bright and retro seating areas. The suite was a bit old, overall, particularly the bathroom which has a very small hand-shower. But the pressure was great. There's no breakfast available, and the beach is outside the facilities.

Great hotel set a few minutes walk from Kamala Beach. Rooms good, staff helpful, & excellent pools

Such a calm and peaceful resort. The accommodation and facilities were perfect for what we needed for a relaxing stay away. Staff super helpful in arranging local taxis for us for days out. The swimming pools were fab, and as the resort was quiet we practically had them to ourselves for most the stay! Would recommend walking to the beach bay within the hotel grounds for sunset. Within 5mins walk is a 7-11 for supplies, and 10mins away is either Kamala for restaurants or two supermarkets so with the kitchenette in the room there were plenty of options for eating which gave us flexibility during our stay. Looking forward to our next stay here!

Excellent location with well kept gardens & amazing views. We booked the 2 bedroom Andaman cottage looking out to sea with the beach just a few metres away & could hear the sound of the waves. Magic! There are many shops, restaurants & convenience stores within walking distance & right o the beach. The staff were just so amazingly helpful & we were well looked after. Special mention to Danie & Summer at reception for making sure service was top notch. Nice pool areas.

I recently stayed at kamala beach estate resort , and unfortunately, my experience was soured by the behavior of the general manager (MADS DANESDE). Throughout my stay, the general manager was rude, dismissive, racist and unprofessional. When I had a problem at my villa , they seemed annoyed and inconvenienced by my request for assistance. Additionally, when I brought up some concerns about the AC of my Villa , the general manager was defensive and dismissive, making me feel like my concerns were not valid. Overall, my experience was greatly impacted by the negative behavior of the general manager. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and welcoming stay. -Don't fall into the same trap I fell in because of the location and the view

I made a very good decision to stay in this hotel:)

Location is good - you have almost everything nearby - supermarket, beach front, restaurants, pharmacy.. Brought our own car so going there and around the different places was not difficult. Mobility was smooth for us. It has a strong wifi connection, Smart TV, nice big bathroom, complete utensils. We have everything:) The staff are very friendly, warm, accommodating. They did what I requested them one day before our check in - that is, to make sure that the aircon is well functioning (I read from the reviews that there are times AC would just break down..)

Nothing in particular. But I can say an area for improvement - kitchen cabinets, front door knobs may need some replacement, refurbishment or repainting. There are already visible signs of wear and tear. Otherwise, this hotel provided my family a very good homey experience.

Smug management, false advertising, go elsewhere

Exceptional resort setup, stunning pool, it could be amazing if the management and advertising matched it.

Room didn't match the description at all. It was a dark, gloomy, dated and mosquito infested room, worn down to the last, without any view whatsoever, even though it was advertised as "balcony with pool view". The pictures on booking.com do not match the room, even worse they're from other rooms of the resort in different categories. Payment was taken in full BEFORE we saw the room. Went straight back to reception, the manager told us it's a marketing exercise, I can't expect the picture to match reality, it's like "in a restaurant where the pictures in the menu never match the food" (his words). Arguing that in a restaurant usually you get something that matches 90% didn't help. He also argued that "terrace", "patio" and "balcony" are the the same thing (we booked a room with balcony but only got a ground level one with a patio) and we could pull out a dictionary if we didn't believe him. We did look up in a dictionary and he said to take it up with booking.com. I asked for a different room, he denied. I asked for a discount, he denied. I asked for a cancellation and refund, he denied as well. He did all of this unapologetically with a smugness that I haven't seen in a long while. Quite unbelievable. If you've read to the end here I can only recommend to ask for exact pictures of the room you booked and don't pay until you've seen it.

A great stay for a quiet family centred holiday.

We liked the quiet location at the end of kamala but only really 10 mins from the town and restaurants, a little further for beach front restaurants. It was a very quiet location with beautiful tropical surroundings. A 7-11 is only a minutes walk away and a large supermarket 10 mins walk. The accommodation us clean and comfortable and we appreciated the space as a family with 2 boys.

If you are prepared for the fact that you are self catering or going out for all meals then I can't think of anything I would improve.
