Great place in the middle of nowhere !

Staff was great, parking was spacious, food was good, and location was convenient for me.

The comfort, the room was spacious, Exellwnt amenities.

I didn't like the extra cost for the room service as we were charged per meal per peson yet it was a family room. E.g. my parner and I ordered a meal, one for me and one for him, and it was all coming to one room but the room service cost was for an individual despite that the food was being delivered in one room.

Stayed in room 106 an outside the window was a transit van and started loading it at 3 in the morning. It was like steal getting thrown in the back. Finally when that stopped they couldn't start the van an found someone to jump start it an left it running outside the window until half 4 in the morning

There was a lovely walk around the property. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and it was convenient to be able to get a meal on site.

The breakfast was a little disappointing; the pancakes tasted as though they had come from a packet.

Great night’s sleep followed by an excellent breakfast but the bathrooms need attention

The bed was excellent and I got a good a good nights sleep. Even with two evening functions going on there was no noise to prevent sleep. The breakfast was excellent and good value for money.

The hotel is a little dated. The shower ran hot and cold and positioned over the bath was awkward to get into. I felt unsteady using the shower. The taps in the sink were very stiff to turn.

Friendly helpful staff. Good food. Quick access to Carlow Center.

The use of duvet with no top sheet. Duvets are too warm this time of year so you have to decide; be too hot or be uncovered. This is in most hotels now here in Ireland and with no A/C it is not realistic.

Wonderful!

The staff in all areas - reception, housekeeping, at the restaurant were friendly and helpful. When we asked for anything eg towels, ice it came very fast - much better service than in any other hotel i have stayed in around the world. Beautiful grounds and a v good breakfast. Daughter had fun playing with the rubber duck - cute touch! Also responses were v fast even when making enquiries before our stay.

Lack of a fridge - though I know fridges are often not standard in Ireland and UK. Lack of a vegetarian option with protein for dinner though the Thai red curry we had with veg and basmati rice was delicious.

Fabulous 2 night stay with family. Could not fault the hotel in any way. Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean.Staff were excellent, and food was so good. Highly recommend and can't wait to return.

Spotless everywhere. Very nice staff. Excellent food.

Room was advertised as having a large double bed, but it was a regular double, it was very comfortable though. There was no cheese board option at the buffet breakfast, at least I couldn't find one, but I might have missed it. Breakfast was delicious, non the less.

Nice hotel, good staff

Nice decor, room nice size and clean, bit of a maze to get to the room but we found it! Staff were helpful and nice. Lovely touches with the wedding party spread, mini burgers, sausages, cocktails, free beers. All very nice and unexpected and appreciated

Bit noisy as I could hear the music from the wedding which was across the courtyard
