The room was very warm. If you plan to go skiing or snowboarding, the heat in the room can dry your clothes within a day. It is only a 5–10 minute walk from the Sinaia ski lifts and the town centre, and a 15–20 minute walk from the train station, 30 Minutes walk from Peles Castle. It is also easily accessible to restaurants. I truly appreciate Isabella, the host. She is very lovely and approachable. I was the only guest at the time, but she reassured me every time so I wouldn’t feel scared and let me know when she was around. She was also very considerate and packed my breakfast for me to take on the go. She even included extra bread, which was a thoughtful touch. The food was great as well. She cleaned the room every day and topped up the supplies. The bathroom smelled really nice and was very clean. The Wi-Fi was super fast. The place had everything I needed, and if I needed anything else, it was easy to ask Isabella.

The walk from centre to Vila Retezat at night can be a bit creepy because it's quite dark.

A charming looking place with the feeling of being in a medieval castle. From our room, we had a nice view of trees looking through the stained glass. Nice neighbourhood with mountains in far away background. Breakfast being served hot, though choices were repeated each day.

The whole place was full of lots of carpets which I didn’t realise. My girls who were sensitive to dustmites had bad incidences of allergies as a result of staying here. So if you are sensitive to dust mites, this probably isn’t a good place for you.
