    Shangri-La's location is really quite unbeatable being just next to the main Shenzhen railway station and a metro station. The metro station is just behind the hotel, while the railway station is opposite (to get there, you just need to cross a traffic light). The hotel facilities are however dated and old-looking, but the room was spacious and we felt most of our needs were met. On our last night, we (2 ladies) had a strange encounter with another "guest" and did not feel safe taking the elevator with him. As such, we requested for the front desk staff to accompany us to our room and they obliged which we are thankful for.

    Would definitely recommend, the location as it is ideal for the surrounding bars and restaurants and lots of happenings!
