Don’t stay on a weekend !

Location

On a Sunday night restaurant closed (we knew that so not a surprise) but bar also closed - staff member said she was the only person on duty at 7pm so could get any drinks at all. Only 1 tea bag could be provided between 3 of us in 2 rooms. Very poor service and attitude. Staff the next morning completely different, really helpful.

Good value for money

Very nice and comfortable rooms, all are very clean, and the service at the desk is always with a smile. The location is good and they have a great gym 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

I sent some laundry, and the price was extremely high and unacceptable. I needed to pay 72 euros for a small bag of clothes.

Nice place, bad Management

The Hotel Résidence Goélia Le Domaine de Pont-Aven is located in a quiet, very beautiful spot on a hill above the town of Pont Aven. The rooms are exceptionally beautifully furnished, and the nights are so quiet that you can sleep with the windows open. The bed linen is first class, as are the beds. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained.

It's worth noting that you have to make your own beds. (!) You are also told that on the last day, you have to take the bed linen down to the laundry room in the basement. The typical French petit déjeuner breakfast is really small and consists of pastries, jam, yoghurt and butter. No cheese, no ham, no eggs, nothing. And it costs a whopping €13 per person. If you want new towels after seven days, you have to pay for them.

Good location, very basic hotel

Room was basic but beds and shower good. Staff was a bit negligent and the bar staff was completely nowhere….

Good hotel in brilliant location for sightseeing, plus a great restaurant.

Room was reasonable size for city hotel. Restaurant was superb as was service. Location great.

We were told to keep our windows closed “ for our comfort”. We tried using air con as room was too hot for our dog, but didn’t work, therefore, opened windows. Huge problem as the noise outside the hotel was unbelievable! It lasted all night and was mainly youths just loitering. They all disappeared at about 7:30am when it became remarkably quiet! We were told parking was close by, but there was nothing close, nearest car park quite a distance to walk.

A colleague had no heating and had to change rooms at midnight - staff didn't offer any compensation for this - no reduced rate - nothing, which i thought was poor customer service.

I had dinner at the restaurant: the food was good, but we had to wait almost an hour to be served. When I went back up in my room, the heating system was broken. A staff checked, but there was nothing to be done. I was given a heater but the bathroom did not have any heating possibilities nor plugs to plug in the heater . I woke up with a cold.They offered no compensation when I checked out in the morning. Nor excu.

L’ensemble des prestations sont à la hauteur malgré ces petits problèmes

J’ai aimé la chambre qui est assez grande la salle de bain, très lumineuse et propre

Je n’ai pas aimé Le Lit qu’elle est légèrement en cuvette. Ensuite le problème de bruit samedi soir, malgré les deux fenêtres consécutive dans dans la chambre.
