Hotel Landhaus Carla

The hotel was good value for money, clean, and in a convenient location. The staff at breakfast, especially Bobo and Slava, were always friendly and welcoming. I also really enjoyed the hot coffee each morning.

The only slight disappointment was that my booking didn’t include access to the sauna, as I had thought it did. I’d recommend double-checking this when making your reservation. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay.

Well situated right next to train station for easy access including buses. Room was clean with a little balcony. Enough choice at breakfast to get the day started.

Our room and the hotel was very clean. It's close to the centre of Mayrhofen and the ski buses start from the bus station right next to the hotel. The breakfast was quite good, although it was the same every day. The view of the mountains from the balcony was amazing. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant was generally nice.

A kettle would have been nice in our room. There was a misunderstanding between the hotel and Booking.com regarding the price of our stay and the hotel charged me 5 times more than the amount that was in our booking confirmation. Fortunately I got the difference back with the help of customer service, but noone told this to me prior to our stay, even though I made the booking 2 months in advance. This situation could have been handled much better by the owner. I understand that Mayrhofen is not a cheap town, but I think this hotel is rather basic for the correct(?) rate of 165€ / night.
