On arrival the staff at the desk and the bar couldn't do enough for us outstanding service just friendly and warm

Nice clean hotel easily accessible from the M4. Handy for the ferry crossings. Great range of food for breakfast. Very friendly staff.
Had an executive room, head of the 2nd bed was to the front door of the room. Could hear a lot of noise from the Bar at night amd everyone leaving surrounding rooms from 06.30.

Air con was not working properly & it was very difficult to get ready as it was so close in the room. I ended up having to get ready in my daughter’s room. We reported it. I’m not sure if it got repaired as we got back very late & it had naturally cooled down. No fridge in the room, no complimentary water and no biscuits. Breakfast was ok but not very warm at all. The bed was very comfortable & there’s a nice lounge area and staff were helpful. Pity as the upgrade of the hotel had not been completed this meant the spa facilities were not open. However, we were advised of this a few weeks prior to arrival.
Breakfast was barely warm & the air con didn’t work!
