Great Kensington Location - very busy hotel with lots of tour bus-type guests - prices are reasonable for the location - bed comfortable - employees are helpful and polite - has a 90s-style decor.
The gym/fitness centre is a little underwhelming.

I was very comfortable at the Holiday Inn Kensington in London. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff were friendly.
The only thing that wasn't so great was the way the small bathroom was designed. The toilet was situated VERY close to the shower recess, and the shower recess was elevated off the floor. However the shower curtain was several centimetres too short so the shower water when everywhere. An impractical, bad design in my opinion
