Hansar Samui Resort & Spa - SHA Extra Plus

Loved the location, breakfast was amazing with great option and friendly staff to accomodate any special request. The room was spacious with a large terrace (private) overlooking the swimming pool and the sea. Staff did everything possible to go the extra mile for us: spa, yoga teacher and reception personnel. We experienced the best Thai hospitality

Many kids, definitely a family resort destination not a honeymoon retreat. Could be loud in the evening

The staff were great, resort was clean. The swimming pool was beautiful., and it was an a fantastic location, They brought round complementary fresh fruit sticks every day to people sitting around the pool, a nice touch ,

The resort and dated, the pool had tiles that were loose. Everything is just generally old, and some things needed to repair eg our curtains , Didn’t like the open style planning of the bathroom., Coffee in our room was terrible,

Nice hotel with good amenities. It had good space for the time of year with great sun bed availability. The spa at the hotel was phenomenal!!!! It was the highlight of our stay.

Personally, the gym space needs updating, it’s small for such a large hotel - yet they have a huge empty room right above it no one uses. I personally think the reception team is a let down. White we had some issues that were addressed when we arrived, we faced some issues at departure and it left a sour taste in our mouth. Had to leave at 5am for the airport, no lights on staircases at all, making it unsafe. The team asked if bags need to be collected and then didn’t collect them.
