I liked the atmosphere, the reception was excellent in chick in and chick out.... The view is marvelous, excellent location, large clean room well firnitured.

Exceptional location - take a sea view!- and gorgeous hotel, former palace.
Warm staff, most were welcoming and attentive. Unbeatable breakfast panorama.
Warmly recommend - we stayed many times in Alexandria and this was a great hotel.
The Hotel staff insisted on us paying a higher minimum charge if we wanted to sit on the top floor bar, while we saw it was almost empty at 5pm and we said we would only stay for 30 minutes. And we stayed several nights. Really unacceptable and rude.
Shower water spreading outside of the shower should be fixed.
Food quality is not remarkable.
Tipping is a mess: creating a team box for tipping at your reception desk would increase tipping from european tourists.

The location, the rooftop and the friendly staff and commanding views
Bad electricity voltage, street noises are unbearable, the windows are not sound proofed, the parking is almost impossible.
