Very pleasant stay

We had a standard double room, it looked exactly as in photos. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable. The room has a thermostat, but we didn't use it. It was very quiet in the room and in the corridors (maybe because there were not many guests at that time). The breakfast was good. I liked that there were warm options: scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes. The rest was usual for a classic hotel: lots of bread, ham, cheese, croissants, vegetables, fruits. Muesli, cornflakes, milk, yoghurt, kwark. Not sure if there were any vegan options apart from vegetables and fruits. The hotel is located in the same building with the stadium, and there are many different stores everywhere and a huge free parking. The location is good for visiting cities and places nearby: Aachen, Maastricht, Drielandenpunt. Everything is within a 25-minute drive.

Not a big issue, but we got our towels replaced even though we left them hanging as instructed because we wanted to use them. It seems the hotel doesn't follow its own environmental regulations. Funny, we didn't find fresh hand towels after the replacement.

Suitable option for on overnight stay if going to the football stadium

Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for attending a match at the stadium. Fast food options close by.

Rooms were standard quality and in need of maintenance (e.g. stains on carpet, broken soap dispenser in toilets). Mattress very soft. Room was cold and had to go to reception for them to adjust the temperature remotely as some of the options appeared blocked on the room control. Expensive for what you get.

Needed hot drinks facilities in the room and for a 7 night stay I should have booked a room with an area to relax having only the bed to relax on for this duration but I will stay again

Everything is perfect - nice rooms - Breakfast is very good.

Nothing the hotel can do about it but the parking is not secure. It's on a desert shopping mall, Park next to a bigger, more expensive car :-) Be aware that the hotel is inside a football stadium. There can be some noise when teams are present.

The Single bed was too narrow, I almost fall out of bed twice at night. If you have broad shoulders or are a few pounds overweight I don't recommend the single bed at all.

see attached pictures and be the better judge.. mold in the bathroom/shower nasty carpet stains on the bed /carpet/ over the whole room the worst part was the bed, a queen size bed with two separate mattresses which move away and the bed was uncomfortable and dead…. far from ok, when you lay on it feels like you drop yourself in a pool… it was so unbelievable bad I complained to the front desk manager.. he said nothing can be done and if I cancel the second night I wouldn’t get a refund… there was no other room he could move me to in order to make my stay a bit less painful, but no he said no other rooms available.. a bit hard to believe for such a large a hotel outside peak season.. never again the overall state of the hotel is really bad and needs a proper refurbishment.. charging over 100euro per night is not worth it..

Good hotel if ventilation system works

A beautiful hotel with a large free parking, close to many shops and cafés. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable if not for one but...

Before paying for the hotel, check whether the ventilation is working in the hotel. In the rooms the windows do not open and if the ventilation does not work, as in our case, at night you will not be able to sleep and give up. It was just awful! The room simply lacked air and had to open the door to the common hall. I think that such details are not quite correct at a sufficiently high hotel price. Everything else at the hotel was great.

In average: stay was OK. Price too high for an already older hotel

Good room and good breakfast and good safe quality e-bike storage facility (the last was most important)

The Fletcher restaurant offered very few main menu choices. (not inviting). That is why we did not use it. The Italian restaurant on 5th floor offered a variety of good meals, however our bill showed higher prices than shown on the menu card (‘they had no time to adjust’, they said on two occasions) No facility and permission to load our e-bike batteries

location is good. lots of shops around.

the hotel staff didn’t do a good job cleaning the room on a daily basis. just replaced the bath towels and put the bed covers up. the breakfast selection was like a 2 or 3 star hotel. very basic.
