Excellent stay

The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The room and beds clean and comfortable. Location is very central. Claire the team leader remembered from our last stay amd was very friendly and chatty and made us feel very welcome. We like the family feel of the hotel.

Convenient location and everything you need.

Hotel was convenient for our trip - not much in walking distance but it was dark when we arrived and wet when we left. There is a McDonalds next door. The hotel itself has everything you need and staff are friendly. Would be nice if parking wasn't an additional extra but it is discounted for hotel guests.

Hotel had a pizza and drink offer, but it was £2 more PP than the Holiday Inn Express in Salford.

No plugs on one side of bed, which was a little awkward, Hair dryer plug was not by the mirror, so when you plugged it in, you could not reach the mirror with it, which was inconvenient for my partner....

Everything about the hotel, staff,breakfast,room were really good and excellent value

Having paid for the required 24 hour parking to receive a £100 fine after returning home, put me off staying again. Following a lot of emails, downloading photos, reciepts etc they squashed the fine, saying it was an error on there part. Both my wife and I are in our 70's and were stressed about this, as well as being out of our depth with the communication methods to get the fine sorted

Cold room. Even colder bathroom,

On the day it was -2 at the beginning of January. . Arrived to a cold room, heating is via an air conditioning unit, which we just couldn't get right. Air blowing right on you, the room never did get warm. After travel, we needed showers, no heat at all in the bathroom, so that wasn't great either. I'm disabled, but there is a lift, guess what, that broke down, could hardly get up and down the stairs. NOT MY BEST HOTEL EXPERIENCE. We went home a day early to get back in the warm.

Bedroom clean and tidy. beds, pillows very comfortable. Reception area very accommodating with friendly and helpful staff.

Regarding breakfast...IMO, rotary toaster would be better for quickness. Types of melon to go with other fruit. Didn't try cooked so cannot comment.

Excellent location , 20 members of my family stayed at your property when we were attending a family party at my daughter’s house in Warwick.

The breakfast area was quite small to accommodate the rush of guests in the mornings. However the Staff members were amazing, fast , hard working and unfailingly polite and cheerful.

Aircon in bedroom directly ontop of bed which was not hygienic if you had asthma. Rooms were only warm. Also hot breakfast was not hot and bacon wasnt cooked right.

Think we were just unfortunate with room location.

Conveniently located just off the M40 so easy to visit nearby places. Staff were very friendly and helpful (and I would say very patient). Clean and tidy, although the cleanliness couldn’t mask the subtle sewerage from the toilet. Thankfully keeping the door closed meant it didn’t fill the rest of the room. We stayed in a twin room and it was a good size. Plenty of room. God choice of hot and cold food at breakfast.

Unfortunately we seemed to be in a room that must have been next to the water pipes. Felt like we heard every toilet in the building flush; along with paper thin walls it was pretty noisy and didn’t make for the best nights sleep, especially people returning to their rooms at 3:30 in the morning. The lighting in the room isn’t great during the day - not helped by miserable weather though.

Avoid and pay more for a proper hotel or guesthouse

The breakfast food was good enough quality however didn't seem to have capable staff to replenish the buffet so was waiting 5-10 minutes for certain bits.

1. Standard double room smelt of dog. 2. Double bed was a very small double. 3. Drinks from bar very expensive, 3 out of 4 drinks I had during my stay must of been served in dirty glasses as could feel dust/hair in my mouth. Really annoying when a glass of red was £10. The beer I had was flat and scummy. 4. TV controller did not work, hotel did swap for another but some buttons on that didn't work so had to alternate between two controllers. Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable, you can feel the metal underneath the mattress so need better mattress for those beds. 5. Only two tea bags provided in room for a one night stay. 6. Breakfast lounge was busy so my family and I were seated in a conference room away from the buffet. 7. Staff in charge of replenishment of buffet were unhelpful and come across as rude at times. People were stood around a lot of the time waiting for eggs/sausages etc to come out. 8. Lift was dodgy and was marked as out of service just in time for our checkout so had to carry pushchair, baby, bags downstairs separately.
