As a regular client , I was delighted to be upgraded to a room with a double bed that was superbly comfortable . The room was airy and afforded an excellent view of the seafront . I felt valued and the staff were extremely helpful , offering left luggage and hotel amenities to make my arrival as comfortable as possible.
My immediate neighbour was quite nosey, and he craned his neck around the terrace divider to ask many questions about who I was and where I was from . I travel solo and value my personal space, so I paid lip service to his rather zealous questioning.
All said , this wasn't the worst experience I have had abroad . It's more like swatting off a fly.

Location large rooms, we were moved from the poolside 1st floor,not good position to level6, exc.

Location was good and room size was good. It had an outdoor pool area that was open all year and a Bistro attached. The view from the balcony was as described- part sea, part city/mountains. There was a plug in radiator in the room which kept it feeling warm which was needed as it was Christmas/New Year.
The drains were really smelly so the room didn’t smell nice at all. The beds (2 single) had plastic mattress covers that made them uncomfortable and it was like sleeping in a baby’s cot. Not much noise insulation - you could hear people walking around in the room above, furniture scraping on the floor, curtains being pulled, TV on, talking in corridors.
