Nice hostel but they can be improved!
The location is amazing, close to everything. There is a lift and the price is fine for a hostel. Reception is 24h!
Showers are a bit rubbish, you have to be basically facing the wall for some water to fall on you. Toilet paper ran out and has never been replaced the full day. No linen in my bed! Beds are too close to each other and little space to open the lockers under the bed. Toilets and showers seem to be a recurrent problem in hostels and so easy to be solved, but ignored!

Your bed is very likely to be used by other roommates
I just liked the location
That hostel is absolutely horrible. I want to share my experience so people like me can choose a better place. I planned a 3-day visit to Valencia and didn’t mind staying in a 6- or 12-bed dorm. When I arrived, I was assigned a room and bed number. However, when I went to the room, my bed was already occupied. I returned to reception, and they assigned me another bed, which also appeared available in their system but was already taken by someone else. I told them that all the beds in that room were clearly occupied and asked for a bed with clean sheets. They then told me that if I paid an additional fee, I could upgrade to an all-female room. This made no sense because I all I wanted was a bed with clean sheets and that'sabsolutely why I booked a week ahead, but I paid extra anyway and upgraded. I stayed there for two days. On my last day, I returned to my bed as usual, and when I lay down, I realized that someone had removed the bedsheets. There were yellow stains (urine or something else) on the sheets and blankets. It’s unbelievable that you’re only renting a bed, and yet the hostel can’t even guarantee that. I went back to reception, and the staff member told me they couldn’t control what roommates do. So if you’re okay with someone peeing in your bed or having sex in it while you’re gone, this is the place for you. It’s shocking how they take no responsibility, especially considering this is also a safety and hygiene issue. Because of this, I had to leave during the night instead of the morning and spent the night at the airport.

It was very comfortable and very much worth the price.
Location was great because it right by the Plaza del Reina, which was a very cute place with tons of stuff to do and amazing food.
The bathroom was very humid and a bit uncomfortable temperature wise.

Great accommodation friendly warm and worth it for €15 on a Monday!
Good location, value for money. Nice old building. Nice friendly atmosphere, with activities planned Albeit in the sister hostel down the road.
Kitchen could have been bigger.

The smell coming from the bathrooms was pungeant, made us want to vomit. Strong sweage smell.
My friend and I stayed in a private room with a queen bed. Shared Bathroom. Mi amiga y yo nos quedamos en habitacion privada, cama queen, baño compartido. The location is noice, but the building is pretty old and the sewage system smelled the whole time. Argentinean front desk and security guys gave us great recommendations for things to visit and specially which beach to go and a restaurant where to have paella. They were on point!
The female baths in our floor where much smaller than males. Considerably smaller. The moment you showered, the whole bathroom floor gets wet. Its an old facility. Los baños de mujeres en nuestro piso eran muy pequeños e incomodos. Si una persona se bañaba, todo el piso se mojaba. The smell coming from the bathrooms was pungeant, made us want to vomit. Strong sweage smell. Breakfast was at Purplenest, few blocks away. Much better facility.

The vibes were more "refugee camp" than "hostel"..
Lovely staff
I’ve climbed my fair share of top bunks (in fact, I prefer them), but this one felt like a punishment. The “ladder” was just a lonely D-shaped metal pipe wedged between bunks—no grips, no footholds, just pure foot trauma and existential dread. Bonus: the side guardrail popped out the moment I tried to grab it for support. Not the hostel's fault, but a heads-up: in Valencia, dorm mates often go on full archaeological digs through their bags at all hours—for no apparent reason. The stuffier and hotter the room gets, the more this behavior intensifies.. without fail.

Not bad but not good
There's no hot/warm water for taking a shower.

For a happy, comfortable stay in Valencia - go to Red Nest!
Loved the location, could walk to most places you needed or if not there was a bus stop really close. The rooms were very spacious and everywhere was clean. The communal area upstairs was great with a pool table and darts. There was also an outside terrace. The staff were super friendly and helpful, as well as having an app of recommendations for the city!
There are no plug sockets by the bed to charge your phone which is a bit inconvenient. Also there are no individual bed lights so if you need light and people are still sleeping it is difficult because it is very dark because you feel guilty switching the main light on. Also it would be cool to have a bar but I understand there probably isn't space :)
