Right on the Camino del Norte route, and right in the middle of the city. Old, historic hotel and property, interiors feature a big staircase to the upper rooms, lots of dark wood. The hotel and the room feature lots of dark wood touchesOverall, great place to stay while on the camino. There's an adjacent cafe to purchase morning breakfast. Friendly staff who gave us great dinner recommendations (and don't forget to go to a sidreria while in this Asturias city. We enjoyed having our windows open to watch the sky change colors and watch the morning hustle and bustle (it's a small city, so very relative). Literally steps to everything: laundromats, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, shops, post office, historic tourist places, everything is right there. I would def stay here again. Thank you to Casa España staff!
Bed mattress was too soft/squishy for our liking.
