Traditional Genoa Hotel Vittoria

Location is within walking distance to transportation, restaurants, and everything Genoa has to offer. Staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Having available the breakfast really helped get the day off right; perfect variety for all. The hotel has been maintained extremely well and provided modern day comfort. Real life Genoa!

Honestly there was nothing we didn't like. The accommodations were comfortable, reasonable value, safe, clean, and helpful staff.

Would stay there again

Very nice clean room with a beautiful view - great walk-in shower in a newly renovated bathroom. Friendly staff. Very convenient location close to the train station.

Position, staff, proximity to The train station.

It's far away from a 3 star hotel, we had mold în our room, dirty walls, only one envelope of shower gel for person, no slippers, no bathrobes, all the sheets and pillows smelled like mold, disgusting old bathroom, your feet would just stick to the floor. The ladies that cleaned the rooms were disrespectfull, breakfast was a poor selection for what it should be a continental breakfast. Overall stay, it should not have any stars, The facilities are dreadfull. Will not come back for sure.

Unique property, short walk from train station with many choices to eat.

Extremely convenient location: very close to the train station and to a useful public elevator, the city center (porto vecchio) is easy to reach with a nice walk though the small typical roads of Genove ("caruggi"). The staff was extremely nice and very helpful.

A beautiful souvenir, I think, i will visit Genoa once again and will stay at the same location.

My room in particular was spacious enough, I love the location, it was near the train station which I find great, you couldn't get lost, restaurants all around, not far from the port because, i was going to a cruise so, the ovierall was just super.

I think at the entrance, it was confusing to where one should go and the smell was off but once I came inside, everything. Was just different and welcoming, especially Paolo, if im not mistaken, the front man at the reception desk was so friendly and helpful.

Fantastic

Location. It was just less than 3 minutes walk from Genova Piazza Principe Station and walking distance to attractions. There’s an elevator on the ground floor to the reception. The elderly receptionist made us feel so welcome every time we went in and out of the property. He made the stay great!

They don’t provide hair conditioner and hair dryer in the room (can get it at the reception though). Only 2 packets of hair/body wash.

Great place to stay in Genoa

Very convenient to the train station, just a couple minutes walk. Close to lots of restaurants. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were very efficient and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely hotel with fabulous staff.

The staff! The staff were so amazing. We didn’t read properly about booking parking. We were helped by the member of staff coming to collect our bags downstairs and giving directions to the parking garage just around the corner.

I must admit on arrival I was worried when walking down a corridor to the lift. However, once upstairs and met with the friendly and helpful staff this was all forgotten. A hidden gem.

- Large renovated room and bathroom. - Helpful and friendly staff. (Especially the gentleman who welcomed us, spoke french and lend us an umbrella.) - Easy access to the city centre. - AC - Mini fridge - Parking lot close by - Breakfast was ok - View

- The hotel is a bit outdated. - The access to the suggested parking lot and the hotel are not very obvious. - Some of the streets between the hotel and the port didn't feel very safe. (But that's not the hotel's fault of course.)

A friendly well run hotel

The room was spotless on arrival and cleaned daily. There was plenty of room, with a desk, safe and hangers for clothes. The bathroom was clean and the walk-in shower easy to use. The staff were superb, extremely friendly and helpful.

I think you could look at expanding the breakfast menu. Maybe with more cheeses to chose from.

Just one thing to mention: Paolo was the nicest person ever! Still amazed by how he carried our luggage just like that and still looked like a well-dressed gentlemen.

You have to know how to find the parking space and get up to the hotel: Just park down at the street (with look up to the hotel) in the blue marked area. Get a parking ticket at the machine. Then get up to the hotel to get rid of your luggage first. Don‘t make the mistake to walk the stairs (as we dummies did). Their is an escalator on the left (see photo). The staff will tell you how to find their parking lot. We did not need it for our short stay and stayed with our car at the street.
