Good value for money

This hotel and horse farm is located in Hamburg suburbs, 10 minutes drive from Hamburg airport. We spent here a night after a flight. I liked contactless check-in, clean, spacious room, comfortable bed, refrigerator with drinks in the lobby.

The room was large enough. The surroundings was very quiet for sleeping. There is warm water, a desk, coffee and tea, and water for guests.

The place is old so there was some mold between the tiles as expected from an old hotel. The lighting in the room is quite dark at night. The check-in machine did not function properly so you had to call the personnel. not a huge issue. it is far off and only reachable by bus if you are taking the public transport.

Electronic check-in did go smootly. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Large room with a good bed.

The message two weeks before the start of out holiday that breakfast could not be served on Monday morning was a disappointment. An alternative ( a bakery in the neighborhood ) was only suggested a couple of days later in a second mail, sent to make sure we had read the first mail and were aware of the issue. The hotel is in the north of the runway or Hamburg airport. Due to the wind direction during our stay (1 day) , all planes did take-off above the hotel. Luckily , Hamburg airport seems to stop plane traffic between 10 pm and 6 am.

- self-check-in machine - relatively good location - free parking - clean - Water, tea, coffee and kettle - my son loved airplanes which took off and landed every 5-10 minutes

Breakfast was good with very friendly service. Location convenient to us: not too far away from motorway as we were just travelling through. Nice Italian restaurant immediately next door.

Ohne die zuvor geschildederten kleinen Pannen würde ich das Hotel auf jeden Fall nochmals buchen

Das das Hotel in der Einfflugschneiße liegt bei bei geschlossenem Fenster fast nicht hörbar. Das Preisleistungsverhältniss ist gut.

Leider war bei meiner Ankuft bei einer Aussentemperatur mit -2Grad das Hotelzimmer und das Bad bei meiner Ankuft eiskalt, weil die Heizkörper Thermostate ganz zugedreht waren. Es dauerte schon 2 Stunden bis alles i.o. war. Beim Frühstück war alles vorhanden was zu einem guten Frühstück dazugehörte. Leider war es auch im Frühstückraum kalt, da lt. Personal die Fußbodenheizung nicht funktionerte. Mit dicker Jacke war es aber noch erträglich aber nicht gemütlich. Der Check in am Automaten verlief auch nicht ganz störungsfrei. Aber nach einem Anruf am Notruftelefon wurde ein Notschlüssel am Automaten ausgegeben.

Sehr freundlicher, familiärer Empfang. Leckeres Frühstück, geräumiges Zimmer. Getränkeverkauf und Snacks und im Eingangsbereich auf Vertrauen, nicht aus einem Automaten.Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Haus, Fahrstuhl vorhanden

Das einchecken war kompliziert und hat viel Zeit in Anspruch genommen ( über PC), da Rezeption ab 14:00 h nicht mehr besetzt war. Im Classic Zimmer waren die hygienischen Zustände, speziell im Bad/ Dusche unzumutbar. Die Duschkabine strotzte vor Schimmel und Kalk. Am nächsten Tag wechselten wir daraufhin das Zimmer. Das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis für diese Zimmerklasse stimmt nicht! Erst recht nicht für ein drei Sterne Hotel!
