Cézanne Hôtel

The hotel had free cold water, which is an EXTREME plus considering that many hotels in Europe lack this facility. The hotel is clean and had a nice lounge area in the front of the property, however, there were a lot of mosquitoes so beware. The location is also not too bad. It isn’t in the main busy center of Cannes and is a bit of a walk uphill but considering that for two nights we paid under $300 in the peak season of July. it’s a great deal.

We were placed on the first floor, which we weren’t opposed to; however, the windows lead straight to the walkway, and the windows were not double paneled, which made it really uncomfortable for us to have our window curtains open during our day. The hotel’s photos also are not entirely truthful. We were placed in a room with a bathroom with no tub. Again, we were not opposed to this at all but NONE of the photos displayed on booking depict that guests would be placed in a room as such. The position of the shower head was right next to the toilet which made it a hassle to clean. If the shower head was placed further away it would have been fine. Again, the hotel is not entirely truthful about their rooms so beware if choosing the cheapest option on booking.

Very friendly staff who helped us to leave luggage at the hotel as we were too early to check in. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Good shower and strong air-conditioning. About 15 mins walk to the sea front and lovely beaches

I found the staff in reception a bit offhand and the area wasn't great. I would rank the hotel a three star and wouldn't personally stay there again
