Well located
My room was a few floors up - although I ran the tap for quite a long time there was no hot water. When I mentioned this to the receptionist I was brusquely informed that I was on the top floor and should have waited no longer for the water to get to me.

The location is excellent for the ferry back to Britain and the secure parking is vital. The cocktail was most enjoyable looking out to sea. We would probably stay again if we catch the ferry back from Caen again.
The hot water took a bit of time to run through. Apart from that everything was fine - we had to leave very early in the morning.

Very good place for catching the ferry as the owners were very friendly and used to early starts. excellent breakfast.

The location is good for the ferry and provided us with a basic room prior to our return ferry crossing
The entrance to the car park is tight if you have a wide car. The parking spaces are small. The bar shuts too early.

I spent my youth in Ouistreham, so I wanted to show the area to my friend. We loved how close to the beach the Villa was and that our car was inside their courtyard.
Too many codes to open the gate though…
The bathroom was ok but not great but we know it is an older building.

Good location for the ferry. Breakfast was really good. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Really good value

The location was excellent it being only a short walk from the ferry terminal and restaurants. The owners were very friendly and helpful and accommodated us with an extra night's stay and arranged a taxi to Honfleur for us. The beds were comfortable, the room clean and the water hot.
The rooms were quite small but adequate for our needs. There was quite a lot of noise coming from a venue across the road but it didn't disturb our sleep. There was a bar downstairs but was only open for a short period in the afternoon/early evening, which was a bit disappointing.

Convenient location with bookable car parking available.
Very basic but served the purpose of one overnight prior to ferry crossing.

The staff were pleasant. The views of local gardens from some of the windows were nice. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok. It was nice that there were tea-pots for tea drinkers.
Our room was very small The building is poorly Insulated for sound. We felt as if we could hear everything in the rooms adjacent to our own. Our room was up four flights of stairs, which were rickety and uneven. We were not offered any help with our luggage. I am disabled and I felt distinctly unsafe on the stairs. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in our room. Two very large windows in a small room meant it was either overheated. or too cool.

Fantastic location, just 5 mins by car from the ferry terminal and ideal location to pay respects to the D-Day landings - the hotel is directly beside Sword beach and one of the museums. Also worth visiting the memorial and ten bunker museum, just 5 minutes away in each location.
Friendly staff and good breakfast
The entrance and stairwell decor are rather tired and gave a poor first impression. Fortunately room was in better condition, clean and comfortable enough.

Room was small. Shower was weak.

Fabulous location and easy to find. Lovely building and comfortable rooms also very clean.
Very friendly staff.
Not a dislike but more of a recommendation, the shower in our room was an in bath one. It would be very helpful to those like myself if a handhold could be put in the shower to aid getting in and out.
I am not disabled but do have a replacement knee which limits my mobility to a degree particularly bending your leg high to get into a bath.
It would be a great help if the was something to hold onto.

Location was excellent
We were told there was no lift and luckily we were on the first floor but there were quite a few steps to get into the hotel which made it a problem I am disabled I could manage one lot of stairs but two were a challenge

This beautiful little hotel is located steps from the beach and a very short walk to all kinds of restaurants, bakeries, and transportation. Staff are wonderful, helpful, and passionate about their region. The breakfast features baked goods from a local (and phenomenal) bakery, along with other locally-sourced products. All in all, highly recommend.

Very noisy and no elevator

The best about this hotel is its great location near the beach, safe parking, nice friendly young receptonist.
The hotel looks nice but inside it is quite old-fashioned with smallish rooms, no facilities to make a hot drink (7euros for a kettle, a few tea bags & coffee sachets with no milk ), extra to pay for parking with limited spaces. The access due to roadworks was a bit awkward, we had no warnings of this.

A great location right on the front and staff were friendly and welcoming. It’s a lovely old building and the parking was a bonus. Lovely garden too (although we didn’t have the weather for it). The room was perhaps a little tired but overall a good stay and a great location. We had a lovely view from our room.

Fabulous location, secure parking & good breakfast. Lovely views from our room. Much more to Ouistreham than just a ferry port. Vast sandy beach & wide choice of restaurants.
