Pleasant hotel. Reception staff very welcoming

We wanted to buy a bag of crisps or snack to have with our drink at the bar but they didn’t sell any. They directed us to a vending machine in the leisure area. Very strange situation

Great stay, great hotel in a beautiful town.

The reception team are very welcoming and couldn't do enough to ensure our family enjoyed our stay including our 7 year old with special needs. Really great attitude, nothing was too much trouble. Great location to enjoy the Greenway which was the highlight of our trip.

Location and facilities

Shower room. Shower rail and soaps fixtures too high in shower wall, evacuation of water was very slow when taking a shower. For first shower, Plughole was full of hair (which I cleaned out)

Claire at reception was absolutely wonderful, and the room was spotlessly clean.

We had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The room and facilities were spotlessly clean, and the food was delicious. Having a convenient car park on-site was a huge plus. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Unfortunately, no sleep was had due to the heat. But staff and food were lovely.

Food and staff were excellent. Swimming pool was lovely.

The rooms had no air con and the window couldn't open. It was stiflingly hot and no sleep was had. Even if the window would have opened, you would have to keep the very heavy curtains closed as there was windows that could see in and no net curtains or blinds for privacy. It wasn't even a very warm day out...the temp was around 18 degrees. I can only imagine what it would be like in a heat wave!

The view, Staff were friendly ..Smart tv in room was forward thinking as alot of other hotels have not upgraded from basic tv services

Food in the Bar was not of a reasonable standard to reflect the prices ....chicken goujons dish came with 3 goujons and plate full of coleslaw.....I got chicken pasta ...A flat piece of breaded chicken with mozzarella thrown on top and a small side of spagetti mixed with some jarred sauce ....Not alot of effort in quality or presentation to be honest, for the prices.... A very inexperienced chef and kitchen or a team that lack care & inspiration ....Not trying to be harsh or cruel, but just giving some constructive critisism.. Its the simple things in a working kitchen that go along way ...I hope its work in progress & onwards and upwards.....Ex-chef

A very memorable stay and couldn’t recommend this hotel enough .

Couldn’t say enough good things about the hotel from the staff to the decor, rooms, bar, breakfast etc. First night we arrived they were celebrating 35 years in business. They put on a free band and barbecue free drinks the lot .

Luxury stay

Excellent service, from front desk to restaurant staff. We booked room that was upgraded to suit, with comfortable king bed and beautiful, large bathroom. Had a great experience in hotel, during Tune festival and on Greenway and will be back again. Thanks so much to all for making our journey memorable

Great location for accessing Greenway, bike hire and the start point within walking distance as was playground, restaurants, town centre. All staff we met were friendly and courteous.

I feel like compared to other four star or Flynn Group hotels, it was a little below standard in terms of cleanliness and upkeep. The toilet seat was broken in our room. The breakfast was average, with continental buffet selection and presentation poor.
