    The stay was pleasant and staff friendly but the place is dated and facilities don’t match the 4 star rating. They have a jacuzzi but it is luke warm, steam room wasn’t working and sauna quite small for the amount of people staying. Breakfast was also just average. Would I stay again, sure if the price was better but for what we paid it wasn’t worth it. Madeira is an amazing island though

    Hotel in a great location with good services, a good breakfast and many relaxation options - there's an indoor and outdoor pool, a (very) small gym, a sauna and a Jacuzzi (although the jacuzzi is a little cold) Nearby, there are lots of public transport options, an Asian sushi and grill buffet, and a shopping centre with a McDonald's, KFC, other food options, clothes shops, grocery shop, etc. within a 2 minute walk. There is also other restaurants and a black sand and pebble beach within walking distance, with an outdoor infinity pool that you can use for €5 Overall the hotel was a great stay and is really well priced for the location, comfortability, cleanliness and facilities!

    Breakfast was fine, good variety. The size of the bedroom and bathroom were satisfactory. Friendly staff and good facilities. It's a 50 minutes walking to the centre but the public transport is near and runs every 10 mins or so. Cleanliness could be improved but they cleaned the room and replaced the required towels every day.
