First of all, this is location, the best one in the Golden Sands-just on the beachfront, a few steps from the sea. All you need for your short or long term stay is reachable in a few munities: supermarket, pharmacy, shops, restaurants etc. Second, the view from the balcony. Again, the best view in the Golden Sand's hotels. You can sit hours and enjoy fantastic sea view. Third, the staff. Very friendly and effective. They allow us early check-in, which was extremely kind after the overnight flight. Forth, outdoor pool. Excellent location and excellent service. Fifth, wide selection of hot and cold meals during breakfast and dinner. Plus live and relaxing music during dinner.
Indoor swimming pool is too small for the large hotel. In some reviews you may read about loud music from neighboring bars at night, but if balcony door is closed, the music sound is not disturbing too much. In some reviews there are negative comments about meals which are the same during whole week, but on the other hand, meals selection is so rich, that you can easily organize meat day, fish day, vegetables day, sushi day etc.
The International is not all inclusive hotel, but It was a surprise not to offering juice, tea or coffee during dinner.

Good facilities, comfortable bed, 2nd floor rooftop pool & the view, Sauna & Steam rooms, very clean & very good WIFI.
However, I’m disappointed with rating given as it is really a 5-star hotel? We had a Seaview, room with a balcony, both breakfast & dinner included.
As a Welcome Drink were asked to go to Costa which is located in the hotel premises and that was the 1st disappointment. In the hotel room there is a Coffee machine and Euro 2.30 for one coffee capsule! No tissue box was provided.
Though we paid for the full breakfast not even coffee, tea or glass of juice was given and we had to buy from the bar. This is the 1st hotel in my life where I had to purchase breakfast tea though I paid for full breakfast.
We stayed 5 nights and for both breakfast and dinner we had almost the same food every day. Food quantity was large but quality was not good including the taste. Especially, ice cream given as desert was the same everyday and the teste and quality was not good. This is the same with some of the meat, fruit and vegetable dishes. I feel like the hotel tries to cut cost from every corner so the quality was not considered.
Though hotel is situated in front of the beach however, this hotel doesn’t own the beach in front of the hotel and this beach is run by different companies, so if you wish to lie in the beach then you have to pay extra. There are some places which are free for public but those areas the beach is not nice and there are rocks.
Lound music played at night and we had difficulties to sleep.
The hotel location is far away from Varna city and only one bus operates if you wish to go to the city and this bus runs one every hour or less. There are shops nearby but they are all expensive and few times higher than in the city.

Staff not polite never smile or greet with good morning or hello not very friendly, waiting for lift took ages,lift stops higher level than floor tripped out of lift several times.
