Breakfast was amazing - plenty of variety - restaurant staff very friendly. Room was clean - large - spotless. Hotel is well located in the old town and close to everything.

The toilet paper in the bathroom is like using sandpaper. Next time I will bring my own roll.

Perfect location and great breakfast. Staff was very helpful and the building quiet and clean. Our request of two single beds instead of one double bed was fulfilled.

I am 1.95m tall and the single bed seemed a little on the small side, but manageable. Also, upon checking in and coming up to our room we noticed there was a slight urine odor...

Great location, comfortable stay but room for improvement

A great central location and lovely building, though a slight sense of faded grandeur. The pool and steam room were very good.

Generally felt like it needed a refresh and the staff were not particularly helpful. Used tea cups were only replaced when we asked for that, advice for local restaurants etc weren’t terribly forthcoming, the front desk often seemed unmanned at times assistance might be needed.

breakfast: quite a lot of daily variation on the availability of certain items like, cheeses, cold cuts, and breads (things missing) room: nice room, comfortable bed but quite worn-out (stains in carpet, wallpaper cracks etc.) location: excellent in quiet area between the city and old town

A reasonably priced old charming hotel in one of the best locations in the city

We were travelling with a toddler, so wanted to have more space which we did get with booking a suite. We had two rather big rooms just to ourselves which was really great! Also, the exterior of the hotel and the inside of the hotel looks really gorgeous and nice. We really enjoyed the views from our windows as we were facing the old town and even seen the Hill of Three crosses - top view really! Location is also one of the top in the city, very close to all major sight seeings in the city centre and conveniently located to bus stops, so its easy to get almost anywhere in the city. Our rooms were cleaned daily and very thoroughly which we appreciated. Also, we got a toddler cot, so our child could sleep very conveniently right besides us. Last, but not least, for what we got (e.g. location, beautiful building, views, size of the room) it was very reasonably priced compared to other properties in the same area, so quality-price wise it was a great offer.

The interior of the room is a bit outdated, also it felt that in our case the room itself was renovated a while back, but high quality materials were used while the bathroom was renovated more recently, but not up to the same standard in terms of materials as it somehow felt "cheaper". Also, the windows might need a tweak or change since they weren't closing completely as for example if you push the window after its closed, it can still be pushed which means the window isn't sealed and this means the noise from the outside is heard in the room. One day there was a loud group outside shouting in the night which woke us up which was unpleasant. But all things considered, we enjoyed our stay.

Staff is kind, but they just don't know how to the the job. If everything is ok, then they can function well. If you face them with anything more complex, they got stucked. But ok, we survived

I booked this hotel at the very last minute because my flight was delayed, and I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful and friendly the staff were. The location is excellent, right in the city center, which made it very convenient. The hotel is a bit outdated, and the rooms could definitely use some refresh, but everything was clean and well maintained. The price I paid was quite high compared to the value of the room, but I assume this was due to booking at the last minute.

Great spa and room, but service was disappointing.

We really enjoyed the spa (pool, sauna, hammam) and the suite with the lovely balcony. The bed was very comfortable, we truly appreciated it.

Check-in was fine, and the young woman at reception was friendly and smiling. However, the breakfast experience was disappointing. Although breakfast is served until 10:00am, at 10:02 we simply asked a question and were coldly told “breakfast is finished” by a staff member who barely greeted us. That was a first for us. When you pay a certain price, you naturally expect a level of service to match. At check-out, we were barely greeted, no smile, and no one asked how our stay had been. It felt quite indifferent, which left a bad impression. Lastly, even though there is a sign indicating “no jumping” at the pool, it's unfortunate that no one enforces it. Children were jumping freely with no supervision.

Lovely hotel, very handily located in a great city

Location really good, quiet but within very easy walking distance to the main Old Town. Room a good size and very cool (when it was quite hot outside in Vilnius)

A bit heavy air in the room in 6th floor and difficult to open the ceiling windows to air out. Complicated to get to the room; two lifts and long corridors . But staff very willing to help to get us a a better room on lower floor. So 🌟to the staff.

Nice spacious room (executive); clean; great breakfast (buffet with many options); free sauna, pool & steam cabin; connected to East Island Spa (massages etc.); perfect location for city visits; friendly staff; 24h reception; short parking in front; parking in garage (though expensive);

Not much to complain. Some small things. 1) Not clear where East Island Spa is located, via hotel. 2) On the 5th floor we could hear loud music from some lower floor. It was frequently a short time so we think it’s from an event/seminar in the hotel. Saturday it was until 22:00 and we already wanted to sleep earlier so that was a bit unpleasant.

The location, facilities, staff are all very good. This was our 5th stay in the hotel. The one suggestion I would have is that you need to work on the tv entertainment in the rooms. There are no English or Russian channels available. The majority of the channels are German and off course in the local language.

Mixed feelings

The location of the hotel was excellent – close to everything we needed and easy to get around. Breakfast was also good, with a nice variety and fresh options every morning. However, the room hadn’t been cleaned properly – there was several hair in the bathroom, which was off-putting. The staff told us that the cleaners would come by the next day as they had already left – not exactly helpful when you're already staying there. Moreover, soundproofing was not satisfactory as we could hear quite loudly the conversations in the near rooms. All in all, was expecting more from such a hotel.

Nice hotel with good location

Perfect location, clean room and comfortable bed. We also like the breakfast buffet including the waffle maker available for guests.

1) We didn’t like it when the room cleaner entered the room without knocking. 2) The round magnifying mirror in the bathroom is placed too high that only a person 1.87 meters tall could use this mirror. 3. The workers at the restaurant / breakfast buffet & bar don’t know how to smile. Unfriendly faces do not exude positive energy. They also served spoiled milk. We had to call their attention about it. Freshness of milk and other dairy products must be checked before putting it out for guests consumption. Otherwise, I still give the hotel a high rating because it’s a nice hotel.
