The Spa facility is poorly run with very rude staff. It is nowhere near sufficient for the size of the hotel, but the worst part is the attitude of the Spa staff.

Nice hotel to relax and enjoy Namur

Very good hotel, with a nice spa facility where could relax in the sauna and hot tub. The breakfast is pretty good too. And the room had everything I needed for a short stay

Lovely hotel and staff, but parking is the deal breaker.

Clean and staff were friendly and efficient. Great view over the water. The rooms were comfortable and well designed.

Parking Experience: During my stay, which coincided with a busy poker tournament over a long weekend, parking proved to be extremely challenging. Although I was informed that I could park in front of the hotel for free, available spots were exceptionally rare. The back of the hotel had parking with a maximum duration of three hours but not surprising non was ever free. Parking at the Casino was available at a discounted rate of €15 per day, but finding an open spot there was equally difficult. Arriving between 15:00 and 21:00 often meant circling for at least 30 minutes to find parking, rarely in the designated areas suggested. A few times I parked illegally and returned after 23:00 to find a spot closer to the hotel. Upon addressing these concerns, I was advised to park at the Confluence Parking, located 800 meters from the hotel. While I understand that the poker tournament contributed to the parking situation, I believe that a hotel of this caliber should provide more accommodating solutions for its paying guests. Looking through the other commentary this is not a limited problem. While the hotel itself was nice, I would probably not return due to this. I found myself avoiding using my car, which was supposed to supply me flexibility in exploring the region, just so I didn’t lose parking spot I had.

Lovely rooms on the river

Lovely staff and the terrace restaurant is nice. Corner room was well equipped and modern with great views. Very quiet tested by large wedding party on the other side of the river! Parking is not too expensive and has large spaces. Stairs to lower level only. Breakfast was great on the terrace overlooking the river (ignore the road below!)

Food in restaurant lacked flair. Staff hanging around and smoking outside the front entrance is a rare sight in a good hotel. They have a lot as it is a casino complex. It is not in the centre but accessible on a decent day (we had 33 degrees and it seemed had too far to walk really. )

A nice stay!

We were checked in by a friendly member of staff and given a room with a lovely view across the river! It was all clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very good! There was a huge range of items to chose from, cold meats etc. to cooked breakfast. Some of the fruit was a little over-ripe but apart from that it was one of the nicest breakfasts we'd had over our two weeks of travel around Europe! All with a nice view over the river too!

We didn't realise the hotel was attached to a Casino and part of the same resort.

Perfect weekend stay for couples

Friendly staff and great facilities. The restaurant was good and accommodating. Casino staff were very friendly as well.

Minor things but the Hotel’s cleanliness in the room and bath soap in the shower and at the sink were empty.

Great and relaxing stay all in all

The location is excellent. really close to all the tourist sites in Namur. The public spa is really great. my husband and I got very lucky that there were not a lot of people when we use it. Also the fitness was amazing with several options to do your workout. the room is very cozy, we booked the river view room. and during our last night, the fireworks show was very visible from our room. the casino is also an added value.

The wellness and fitness area does not have a staff you can ask. so most of the time you have to go to reception of you have questions. with this fact, the sauna and the steam room were not very hot, it is probably because there is noone to call in case of emergency. the river view room, though it didnt bother us, but its only a small window with a window bank you can sit on to look outside. so do not expect to have a full window for the view.

Very nice and comfortable room

The room is very modern, big and comfortable with a very big and clean bathroom. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, we had two very good nights of sleep. The location is good, you can walk up the hill to the citadel in about 10 to 15 minutes. The centre is also about a 10 mins walk. There is parking on the street which is free on the weekends and a paid parking dedicated to the hotel and casino guests. If you are a guest you get 50% off parking.

The shower is not delimited in any way so water gets everywhere in the bathroom but it was a room suitable for disabled so perhaps that is the reason. Not sure if all the rooms have the same, we got this by default. Just make sure you put the feet towel at the entrance of the bathroom instead of in the bathroom, otherwise it gets soaked.

Great Hotel in Namur , Belgium

Wonderful location along the bike trail and the Canal . Close to city center . The venue is a casino on one side and a hotel on the other . Very modern and extremely well maintained. Good inside secure bicycle storage . Staff from manager on down were absolutely wonderful . Good elevator to rooms .Room was very clean and bright . Spacious and very clean bathroom. On site restaurant was very nice with reasonable price point . Breakfast was excellent with multiple hot and cold food choices . A really comfortable place to stay , eat and gamble if you so desire .

Was expecting more for the price

Friendly personnel, comfortable sheets and sound proof walls.

Though the room was nice, it didn't seem like it was properly cleaned. Some parts were covered with dust. Especially the curtains seemed oddly dirty. The curtains also didn't block out sunlight enough, which caused some sleeping difficulties to my partner and myself. There was also a fire detector on the ceiling that had blinking red lights on it, which distracted my partner as they were trying to sleep. The door to the bathroom had this loose piece of rubber hanging on the side. The AC in the room also didn't come with instructions. We had a hard time figuring out how to turn it off. It also seemed impossible to properly open the windows all the way, which was rather annoying. But what was the most disappointing of all was the breakfast buffet. It didn't seem like there was enough food for all the guests and the personnel couldn't replenish all of the items in time. Personally I just wanted some scrambled eggs and a croissant, but they had all run out and it took much too long before new ones were brought, so I just ate something else. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or just poorly organized, but I was expecting a higher level of standard for a hotel of this price! There were only four kinds of tea, which is a very tiny selection. There were also several jars with juice in them of which the tap didn't seem to work. So I guess the juice was just for show? Using the stairs at the hotel we got the feeling that some parts of the hotel were unfinished. Everything above the first floor stairwell had a very messy look to it. As if everything still needed to be painted or something. And when you exit to the ground floor you have to pass through a small hallway with a door that seems to be always open that leads to the dish washing area of the kitchen, which gives off an unpleasant smell.
