Relaxing

Very relaxing with many swimming pools and restaurants, it’s designed to make people comfortable and relaxed.

Lovely Beachfront Hotel

Lovely beach front property, staff we very nice. Location is good, the sea front is impressive and so clean. There are a few bars and restaurants beside hotel. The nightlife isn't really great in Torremolinos, more of a family destination but bars around the hotel are the best of a bad bunch imo. About a 15 min walk into old town, lots of steps so be warned. There is a lift but there will be queues. Several pools at the hotel and never any issues getting a sun bed. Breakfast was good, decent amount of choice and so relaxing.

Wifi was pretty bad to be honest but not a huge deal as used phone allocation. Food at bar wasn't great, poor selection too.

The room was tiny , there was a smell and air con wasn’t cool , they sent an engineer but was no better . Paid for pool view and didn’t get it as hotel was full

Well renovated hotel - very modern and clean. Plenty of sunbeds and shade too.

Very nicely renovated hotel - modern and well equipped. Plenty of sunbeds in adult only area or elsewhere. Good food at the pool bar and plenty of choice at breakfast including omelettes cooked to order.

The fire signs on the back of the doors glow in the dark and light up the whole room - we had to cover ours up and it still glowed through the night. The 'courtesy light' under the sink wakes up everyone in the room if you move around during the night - no way to switch it off. The car park is horrendous - do not park in it unless you have a very small car!

The sea view from the room was sublime. The balcony with sun beds. The rainfall shower. The happy hour 5-6pm.

The room was one of the best in the hotel, yet it had no space for suitcases! The balcony or the glass surrounding it was not cleaned whilst we were there. We had a problem with the air conditioning in the room on arrival, and it took several hours to get it fixed. Apart from the above all good. Breakfast - very difficult to get a set table at the Don Marco after 10am, without chasing down a member of staff..

Good, but the entire area let the resort down

This hotel is a resort, 100s of rooms, it has sun-loungers in abundance, 7 or so swimming pools, Yoga classes, aqua aerobics, kids clubs and loads mote. The hotel location was very good for access to restaurants, the beach, and bars, also plenty of knick-knack shops for sunscreen etc.

I didnt like the vibe of the area, it's a chaotic blend of tacky souvenir shops, rowdy bars, and greasy burger joints catering to sunburnt tourist.

An excellent weekend in a lovely hotel. We re-visit and would recommend!

Location was great - less than 15 mins from airport. And right outside was a small supermarket. Lots of pools, and lots of sunbeds - although on Sunday we couldn’t actually find a free one so get there early. Room was modern and clean and great. Aircon was amazing and quiet. Free use of Shower Room after check out was awesome and allowed us to make use of the day. Happy hour and lovely cocktails too.

Worth the money

Plenty of sunbeds, several pools to enjoy, very clean and spacious room. Helpful and nice staff:)

No hair dryer or slippers in the room. Air conditioner wasn’t working on arrival, though it was fixed quickly. I expected everything to be ready without needing to call. Buffet could be better, and it’s a pity that drinks are excluded.

B&B recommended only

Its disingenuous of management to refer to the “ neighbouring” hotels renovations. Its their sister hotel and guests should be made aware of the disruption noise and the price reflected accordingly. The biggest disappointment was the dinner buffet - plenty of food but it was undercooked overcooked or just tasteless and bland. Finally the health spa is using 2nd year students from holland on internships not telling the client and charging full price.

Lovely hotel but go room only

The hotel was very clean and the facilities good plenty of sun beds etc the entertainment very good.

We expected adults only and it was overrun with children I appreciate that the three hotels share the pools but did not know they used the same dinning room screaming children is not good in the dinning room. The food was not very exciting repetitive and not very hot breakfast was poor. For a 4star hotel it was disappointing.

A fantastic stay, beautiful surroundings and location, 3 days was not enough.

The rudeness of one of the male members of staff behind the bar. My 18yr old son stood waiting to be served for a good 20 minutes, it wasn't busy so I went to see where he was. He was standing at the bar with cash in hand and a group of older women approached and were immediately asked in front of my son for their order. He was clearly waiting to be served but not one member of staff acknowledged him. He told me he was repeatedly ignored by this one particular bar man. Why?

Great hotel overlooking the sea front.

We loved the friendly staff and the sea front views from the sun deck. There were always sun beds available throughout the day as they have multiple pool areas.

Our room had a couple of maintenance issues which didn't stop us enjoying our time, but it did mean we had a couple of disturbances during our day. We were slightly annoyed to find one entire hotel being completely refurbished and once again it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves, I would just have rather received information on this before arriving.

Good value for money

Everything was fabolous, especially food. A lot of varieties and gluten free choices. Very close to a fine beach, just across the street. As a frequent traveler I would strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.

A very relaxing break.

Breakfast was good. The room was a bit tired looking. The location is very good (excellent).

The bathroom lacked a fitted bidet which for a superior room would have expected one to have been fitted. The rather antiquated contraption that was installed was a poor substitute and maybe not as hygienic.

We liked the clean adult pool. We liked the choice of restaurants and the food choices were excellent. The hotel was close to the beach and was quiet at night.

Not enough staff at the poolside bar waited 35 minutes sitting down to be served for lunch had to ask in the end as serving people just sitting down whilst still waiting which I hate doing.

Good hotel near the sea

The hotel has a great location near the sea, very clean, cleaning was performed every morning, towels changed, floor washed. Breakfast was very good, a lot of different food offered and unlimited cava - great. 9 swimming pools were available, very clean and well serviced. Animation and evening performances were good as well.

We have twice informed the hotel that we are just married couple having honeymoon before our arrival. We got neither response and no any reactions. Sad. No fish and olives for breakfast for ten days.

English Breakfast was poor, everything else was really good, fresh & a pleasure to eat

Wasn’t given the Cava on arrival as offered when booked, the shower didn’t work had to report the issue to get it fixed, had to ask about the safe should be offered at reception on book in, there was no kettle tea or coffee in the room first off until the shower was fixed bottle of water was only given once with the whole stay, bathroom water isn’t the best for guests to drink but fridge was given with some soft drinks & beer once but would have to pay to refill which we accepted but water should be offered daily as a kettle was there however had to keep asking for tea & coffee & powdered milk to be replaced but wasn’t done voluntarily ended up buying some from the local shop very poor to expect guest to do that you don’t have to do that in UK hotels on the whole though room was nice

Total mix up when we arrived no rooms for us and it was almost 12o'clock at night. We were disgusted and will never book don Marco again.
