Nice, comfy and quiet stay

Not worth it
It's near the forest and close to the beach, clean and pretty building in old dutch style and nice backyard.
We had several rooms. Some had very sunken and sagged mattresses. Some beds were broken and creaking on every move, so prepare to be woken by your partner a lot and have a sore back, so you will want to change your sleeping position and wake up your partner. Pillows are hard. Some rooms don't have curtains in shower, some have very old bathrooms that you won't see on photos. Soundproofing exists between rooms, but doors are oldstyle with big gaps all around so you can hear everything on the hall and the canteen and it also serves as a nightlight as light shines through the gaps! The reception is not in the same building for check-in, it's about 10 minutes away on foot. Location is nice if you have car, a lot of walking if you don't. Best to come with bikes on your car.

We enjoyed our stay and liked the area
We enjoyed our stay , we loved the breakfast and ‘honesty bar’.
We felt the room was a little dated and there was a slight smell of urine outside our room .

Recommended hotel at fair prices. Calm and restful.
The breakfast was good and varied. The rooms on the first floor can be reached via a small, narrow staircase and are difficult to manage for the elderly or those with mobility problems.
The room was small and cramped. The roof beams also hindered freedom of movement.

Breakfast was superb, varied and tasty and certainly sufficient. If you wanted you could have breakfast in the beautiful garden
The room was clean but dark. No sun came in through the trees in front of it.
