Warm, unpretentious luxury with unforgettable food; worth a detour!!

The restaurant is absolutely OUTSTANDING. Worth a trip just for the mushroom soup and Ribeye. It is posh without being pretentious, it is a wonderful place for anyone seeking an atmosphere of family, friends, and fabulous dining in what I can only assume is a typical European hotel. Not only would I look forward to staying here again, I would go out of my way to do so.

A nice, clean and modern hotel, with friendly staff and conveniently situated for the station.

The lovely breakfast was served with a smile in the extremely comfortable breakfast room.

There is no shower mat and on the last morning I slipped and twisted my knee, which is now very painful. The surface of the shower should be dimpled at least to prevent that kind of thing - or provide a shower mat!

Rude and assaulting

Breakfast was very good, excellent quality, fast service and very comfortable. (Coffee was a bit too acidic for us, bit that's a personal preference) It was clean overall, hotel was recently renovated so that's a plus. Very friendly and professional staff with one extreme exception I'm going to mention below. Bathroom was really well equipped with some high quality branded cosmetics.

1. We had announced our stay with cosleeping baby but when we arrived we got a double single bed connected together with a huge gap in between and it was also very high (to the point that fall would be very dangerous) so I rearrange the sleeping space to make it safe (respecting the furniture and sheets, obviously) the floor there was very clean so there was no concern about it. Also I got cut the same day and it's obvious that you can spot in in white sheets. After our first night housekeeping came to refresh towels and sheets (which is again very normal) BUT night porter/manager/whoever named Richard I had a very unpleasant with was extremely rude and disrespectful to me as a mother. He offended me and refused to take my coffee to the room even though I had a 14 months tired baby in the stroller and I was alone. He gave me a lot of bad and offending words. I work at Hospitality myself b I think I have never experienced anything like it. The guest is gold and you cannot disturb anyone's privacy if there is no reason even if there is a "mess" clothes etc, especially with a baby. It's unacceptable. Please be aware of this man because he can be a real threat to your privacy.

A lovely surprise

The suite offers ample space and is aesthetically pleasing. The staff is exceptionally courteous. The restaurant maintains a high standard of quality. Convenient public parking is available within a short, secure walking distance. This was a delightful discovery.

An enjoyable stay in a clean and comfortable hot, helped by welcoming, friendly and efficient staff.

The breakfast was very nice - there was a choice of items and they also had decaf coffee, which I prefer. Everything was served with friendly and welcoming efficiency.

overpriced nice hotel

The location is quite accessible from the main train station, which is connected with busses as well. You can reach to the city center around 10 minutes by walking. Staff were quite welcoming and helpfull. Amenities were okay as well as the cleaning. The restaurant was also quite tasty, there were many people using the restaurant from the outside too.

I don't know if I consider this as dislike or not but there is no buffet for the breakfast. No idea if it was there before covid but now you need to fill in a paper everyday and hand it over to the staff so it will be prepared and be ready for you in the next morning. Like two slices old cheese, 1 muesli, 1 loaf of white toast bread etc. Different approcah but I guess it helps saving a lot from the food waste. Of course you can ask more anytime.. On the other hand hotel is quite old, don't expect soundproofing, lots of noise coming from the corridors of other rooms. You can even hear sounds when people walking.. There were uneven parts on the floor too :) Our 18 months old baby could not balanced himself when walking around the room :)

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - my friend and I enjoyed it very much. The room was in pristine condition. I don't usually sleep well in new places but the bed was very comfortable. There were plug points near the bed and the shelving just behind the beds were useful for putting my snacks and drinks on and being able to just reach them from the bed!
