Great place to escape from reality.

This place is amazing. The host met us personally to hand over the keys and explain everything. It is an extremely cozy location to escape from reality. What I enjoyed specifically is that this property is equipped like people should live there, not just stay - you can find everything you need in the kitchen, including, for example, a blender.

Be aware that if the season is particularly cold, the microclimate in the bedroom can be chilly for some people.

A nice, cozy and practical place for a few nights... not to be missed

- location is great, at the back of the house so it's always very calm. - All kind of amenities are available (coffee, tea, games, a welcome Cava bottle) - park place - very friendly host who even proposed that we came back to take a shower after our trail if we wanted - very near walking trails - easy city access a few km downhills

- the mattress of the spare beds could have been a bit more firmer.

Exceptional

The apartment is tastefully decorated and has everything that one needs, including a very well-equipped kitchen. The terrace and a garden were an extra plus. Great location as well - close to lots of hiking trails and a whole number of attractions. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended.

The host was great. Met us and walked us through the house. Showed us everything to make our stay perfect. The house was extremely clean and very close to places we wanted to visit. Would 100% recommend. Great stay with kids.

Perfect place for short getaway in the Ardennes !

Excellent location for hikes and visits, all facilities present (even more than expected, small gifts included), very clean upon arrival. On top of that, Gite Evasion has superfriendly, welcoming hosts who are readily available for help or tips.

Great place, great hosts

The hosts Claude and Roxanne are real angels. They made us feel at home. The flat was very comfortable and well equiped. Every time we asked for something the hosts were there to help us. Beautiful place, extremely friendly people!

Perfect "getaway" in de Ardennen.

U hoeft niet verder te zoeken. U heeft uw perfecte "getaway" gevonden in de Ardennen. Een fantastisch mooi appartement, zeer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien en meer. De pelletkachel is absoluut top en het buitenverblijf is geweldig. De gastheer is super vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Van ons een 11/10. Claude hartelijk dank voor de gastvrijheid en dat we te gast konden zijn in je geweldige appartement. Ne cherchez plus. Vous avez trouvé votre "getaway" idéale dans les Ardennes. Un appartement magnifique, très propre et équipé de tout le confort nécessaire, et plus encore. Le poêle à pellets est absolument génial et l'extérieur est superbe. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et très serviable. Nous lui donnons une note de 11/10. Claude, merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité et pour nous avoir accueillis dans votre superbe appartement.

Geweldig verblijf in het hart van de Ardennen

De rust, het uitzicht, compleetheid van accomodatie. Geweldige service van de eigenaren. Het ontbreekt er aan niets, je voelt je er 100% welkom en gewaardeerd. Zelfs handdoeken werden voorzien gedurende het verblijf, laatste avond kwam de eigenaar nog heel lief 4 stukjes zelfgebakken cake brengen. De foto's zijn echt identiek aan wat je krijgt, en het uitzicht vanuit het terras is echt een rustgevend parelje. Super nette en warme ontvangst, uitgebreide rondleiding en uitleg door eigenaar die redelijk goed Nederlands kan. Mensen met hart voor het bedrijf.

Het verblijf was top verzorgd, echt een aanrader. Mochten we toch wat moeten noemen, wij waren met 4 personen, er is 1 (2 persoons) slaapkamer met een prima bed en 2 stoelen in de woonkamer die je om kunt bouwen tot slaapbank. De slaapbank is meer geschikt voor kinderen dan voor volwassenen. De accomodatie ligt (ondanks de doorgaande weg) zeer rusig en mooi, bijna bovenop een heuvel, plaatselijke winkels en horeca op ca 4 km bergafwaarts. Voor ons geen probleem, maar dit zou als beperking kunnen gelden voor mensen die wat meer van het uitgaansleven en reuring zoeken.

Zeker aan te raden

Zeer mooi, zeer goed onderhouden. De gastvrijheid was super. Alles is voor handen, volledige uitgeruste keuken, propere bedden, voldoende handdoeken (elk zijn eigen kleur). Als er iets was kon je het altijd vragen aan de gastheer.

Geweldig!

Super schoon en hygiënisch. Fijne accommodatie om eind van de dag weer bij terug te komen. De eigenaar is erg gastvriendelijk en kwam geregeld checken of alles naar wens was. We reisden met een kind en er waren allerlei spullen aanwezig voor onze kleine. Dit was de eerste vakantie van ons gezinnetje in deze samenstelling en heel memorabel. We hebben ervan genoten!

Se sentir chez soi dans une maison superbe, avec des vues fantastiques

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique. Tout était là ; un équipement de cuisine très complet avec four, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, machine à café et tout le nécessaire jusqu'aux épices, une belle terrasse avec de superbes vues (avec chauffage de terrasse), un bel intérieur et tout ce qui était neuf et de haute qualité. Les meilleurs lits d'hôtel avec de bons duvets et de beaux oreillers, du savon, des serviettes et une excellente douche. Nous avons apprécié toutes les touches supplémentaires et toute l'attention de Claude et Roxane. Quel accueil et quelle hospitalité, un grand merci !

Le temps n'était pas trop mauvais, mais c'était d'autant plus agréable à l'intérieur !

Gezellige gite nabij de mooie natuur van de streek

Heel goed uitgeruste gite. Alles was er van de koffiepads, tot schotelvodden, badhanddoeken. Niets te kort Gezellige leefruimte met zeteltjes en een ruime tuin en terras

na enkele uren vonden wij de ventilator van de pelletkachel wat storend maar pluspunt is wel dat je het er goed mee kan verwarmen

Heerlijk, sfeervol appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien, met verwarmd terras en mooi uitzicht.

Prachtige locatie, verzorging op en top, alles aanwezig. Sfeervol appartement, mooi uitzicht. Heerlijk verwarmd terras waar we glühwein gedronken hebben. Hele aardige en behulpzame gastheer en gastvrouw. Heerlijke, zelfgemaakte chocolademoussetaart gekregen als nieuwjaarstraktatie. De sneeuw op de bomen en bergen gaf nog iets extra's. Mooie omgeving bij de Amblève. Dichtbij Spa (mooi), Durbuy (mooi, maar wel erg toeristisch, het hele plaatsje was een kerstmarkt, misschien leuk met kleine kinderen) en Namen (leuk).

Wij waren er twee dagen met onze dochters en drie dagen met zijn tweeën. Het is heel fijn dat je er ook kan verblijven met vier personen, en de bedbanken zijn prima in orde, maar omdat het appartement min of meer uit een ruimte bestaat, is het misschien voor langere tijd geschikter voor twee personen, maar prima voor een paar dagen voor vier personen.

Heel gezellig en knus.

Een heel mooie en gezellige vakantiewoning die smaakvol is ingericht. Alles was erg netjes en er was voldoende keukenmateriaal aanwezig. Er waren ook voldoende handdoeken, koffie,... De ligging was ook heel goed en een mooi uitzicht . We werden erg vriendelijk onthaald door de eigenaars, we hebben een erg aangenaam verblijf gehad en willen zeker nog eens terug gaan.
