About this cottage rental
Former family farm, the Plantié house has been completely and recently renovated. This accommodation can be booked by 2 to 6 people. Adjoining the farmhouse, you will stay in a beautiful bearnaise barn in lime and pebbles from the Gave. It is located 15 km north of Pau, 10 minutes from the airport (transport possible) and is close to many places of interest. The surface of the gîte is 115 m2. Everything has been done to comfort level to make your stay pleasant. Beautiful hiking or cycling routes are accessible without a car. At 4 km, in Lasclaveries, possible first flight with a parachute. A SPAR supermarket open every day is available in the village.

The apartment was beautiful—exactly like the pictures shown. The whole apartment is modern with very nice kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for cooking—pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc.
Our hosts, John Luc and Cathie were wonderful. They live on the property in a separate house but give you all the privacy you need. If we had a problem on how to work something, JL would respond immediately and come help us. We told him we’re interested in checking out the Pau area for retiring. He came over to the apartment one evening and spent over an hour talking to us and sharing information on areas to live.
The apartment is out in the countryside making it a very peaceful place to stay. JL gives perfect directions on how to get there—very easy. But, it was also very easy for us to drive into Pau and visit other communities in the area.
JL kept saying he speaks very little English and it’s not very good. Not true!! He spoke wonderful English and we had no problem communicating with him.
We highly recommend this place if you’re wanting to stay in the Pau area!!!!!
