A house between Ancient Olympia and the Ionian Sea

This is like a cottage house where a very friendly old couple lives on the floor above the apartment. You are very close to nature in an environment full of green. The house itself is cosy (mostly in the living room - the other rooms are kind of cramped and older). It was mostly clean, taking into consideration it's location. There were some dogs in the garden which were friendly after our introduction from the hosts. There is easy access to a nearby beach on foot, but not recommended after dark due to kind of difficult terrain near the beach. We had a great time there and I honestly recommend it, but it might not be for everyone.

The house could have some small renovations here and there especially in the bathroom. Also, as much as I liked the small dogs in the garden, I would prefer not to interact with them at all. Our 2 years old daughter was not very keen on having them walk freely around us. I personally can't fully trust a dog I only know for couple of hours. Also forget about internet in the area. Not only the house does not provide internet (of course it is stated in the description), but also almost all cellular providers wont have any signal there. So you must be very prepared in terms of info for your vacation. If you are used to hotels in more "civilized" areas with easy access to everything for your vacation, you might need to think twice. Despite some minor negative stuff that I mentioned, I would still recommend staying there for a different experience.

The location is perfect. The beach is to close and perfect if you have kids. The house has a big garden where the kids can play with the dogs. Every day the host will bring you fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden which taste great! There are places close to the house where you can eat or shop. We wish we can stay longer but the house was full booked for all August.

Nice family house in the middle of NOWHERE. It's literally in front of the Bouka beach, but If you want to visit the Bouka beach you have to walk about 1,5km around because of the awkward road. We didn't visit Leventochroi Beach. Big kitchen and very comfortable living room. Enormous balcony and a beautiful grass garden in front of it with trees.

The rooms where awfully small. The double bed was occupying the whole 1st room. Two single beds on the 2nd room. Both rooms didn't have space to put even the bags inside. The bathroom old. When we arrived the sink had stuck and we couldn't use the water basin. The plumber came the 2nd day and the hostess proposed to not pay the 1st night for the stay as a compensation. After the 2nd day and the fix of the problem, the hostess didn't say anything about it again. They didn't have air condition in the 2nd room. The place (and maybe the entire region) has difficulties with the cellular networks, so It's very difficult with the cellphones. There is WiFi with no acceptable internet. Very slow and unusable. If you want to work with your phone it's impossible.
