    As a woman who travels solo this place was everything ive ever dreamed of. Central to everything.. The most Beautiful facilities. Poolside cocktails.. friendly helpful staff.. a rooftop bar with the most delicious food and drinks. With a sight of luxury every where you look. Attention to details are most definitely not lost in this place.. The crystalbrook Riley has outdone it self and I most definitely will be returning. Thank you for a fabulous stay🍸♥️😍👌

    Beautiful hotel, bit pricey at ***. Pool looks amazing and was very busy, comfy bed, beautiful bathroom with an amazing rain shower and a hand held one with great pressure. There was a free-standing bath, but we did not use it. One feature we really loved was the mood lighting(strip lighting) in the room. So beautifully ambient and relaxing! Lovely to have a small balcony and the ability to let some fresh air into the room instead of being forced to live in airconditioning in winter. It has a fully stocked mini bar and a nespresso machine and beautiful tea selection. An enormous TV is mounted in front of the bed. Views out to the ocean are amazing and breakfast buffet was lovely and setting beautiful 👌. The only thing I missed was a good bircher muesli on the buffet. In the lobby they have a station to fill your water bottles with filtered chilled water which we loved. There are some Lekker bikes for rent in the lobby. Service was lovely and all by Europeans on working holidays 👌 Overall experience was lovely, possibly a little expensive for an extended stay.

    We were really excited to stay at Crystalbrook and were very grateful for the early check-in, which was much appreciated after travelling. Unfortunately, the experience after arriving in the room was disappointing. While we understand Cairns can be hot and humid, there was visible black mould on the ceiling and the entire room felt extremely damp, including a noticeable musty smell. We were also placed in an accessible room rather than a standard room. The automatic door closed very slowly, which made privacy difficult as it stayed open long enough for people in the hallway to see straight into the room and bed area. Additionally, the doona had yellow stains on it, which was not what we expected from a hotel of this standard. To top it off, when we checked out we were double charged for our dinner and deposit. It has now been a week and the issue still hasn’t been resolved. Overall, this was not the experience we had envisioned when booking a Crystalbrook hotel.
