I'm not a repeat guest; generally, we always look for new accommodation and locations for our getaways. We made an exception here and now, staying here for the second time. Just like the first time, everything was fine again. The cottage is cozy, well-equipped, and in a very beautiful location. The host is helpful! We were satisfied with everything, the maximum score is well-deserved!

Exceptional

Our stay in Waldheimat was the perfect escape in nature we needed! We were able to recharge, hike and enjoy the beautiful region. The hosts were very kind and welcoming and explained to us everything we needed to know about using the heater for hot water and the other specifics of the house. We had absolutely everything we needed, the garden was a great place to chill and eat breakfast/dinner. We highly recommend and would love to visit again!

Fabulous

The host was very kind and the place is basically fabulous. At the first glance it could be a bit unusual because you need to put wood into the stove to create heat and hot water. However, finally we really liked that. For the kids it was just a kind of adventure. Moreover, the surroundings of the small wooden house is fantastic, especially if someone wants to hide from the crowd and noise of bigger cities. Very good place to relax. We spent only one night there but we wish we could stay a bit longer.

Just great!

The house was really beautiful. The location is amazing!! Great for families and kids. Especially if you want to run away from town. We really liked the fact that we didn't have internet!

The only problem is the kitchen boiler. You need many times to warm up the water just to wash 3 glasses and 3 plates. If they change this then is going to be amazing!!

Perfect place to escape to and enjoy nature.

Cosy once the fire was lit. Beautiful location. Large comfortable beds. Lighting the fire to heat the shower water was no problem at all and the shower worked well. We may go back in the summer. Fantastic views literally only a few paces from the property.

Kids wanted wifi. Did them good to go without! Looks really small at first sight but has everything you need. No complaints. A careful drive required in the snow or ice. When heating the shower water be beware that the fire door gets hot.

Zum Runterkommen vom Alltagsstress bestens geeignet

Die Waldheimat in Amberg liegt wirklich am Berg hoch oben mit herrlicher Aussicht und Möglichkeiten für outdoor Aktivitäten, sehr netten Nachbarn rundherum mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten ab Hof. Trotz Almlage gibt es Luxus von Strom und warmem Fliesswasser. So lauschig!

Baita distante dalla città dove poter rilassarsi

La casa era immersa nel silenzio, con un bel giardino in piena privacy. Gli ambienti erano ottimali per 4 persone. Cucina ampia. Camere accoglienti con letti puliti e comodi.

Visto che per il riscaldamento bisogna arrangiarsi e non si conosce la casa, sarebbe utile che ci fosse un libretto in diverse lingue in cui si illustra come accendere il fuoco, come scaldare l'acqua per la doccia, dove trovare la legna, ecc. Le pulizie erano piuttosto sommarie visto che nei cassetti ho trovato polvere e briciole. La tovaglia era sporca e le padelle antiaderenti erano molto strisciate e quindi inutilizzabili. Le ceste con la legna per accendere il fuoco erano vuote e ho dovuto cercare in giardino se c'era legna al completo buio. Sarebbe stato carino trovare la casa con la stufa già accesa e non fredda e piena di cenere. In bagno mancava un posto su sui appoggiare il beauty case.

Schöne Hütte und tolle Gastgeber

Außergewöhnliche Hütte, alt urig liebevoll eingerichtet. Ganz netter Empfang von Anja. Wir waren nur zwei Nächte, aber diese waren toll.

Der Weg zur Hütte war sehr abenteuerlich, wer Probleme mit engen ungesicherten Wegen und Höhe hat kann an seine Grenzen kommen- ich musste meinen Mann weiter fahren lassen 😅 aber man wird mit einer tollen Aussicht belohnt😍
