Grandma's Home Sangkhlaburi

I really enjoyed my stay in this family home. The lady owner is extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. She did everything she could to make my visit as enjoyable as possible and has a deep knowledge of the town and local area, which was very informative and interesting. My bedroom was lovely, very quiet at night and with a powerful fan, a large super-comfortable bed, plenty of room to hang my clothes, and even a nice desk and chair, and bedside table. The house itself has a beautiful shaded garden with banana trees outside my window! The location is excellent, very close to the Mon bridge and with several excellent cafes and restaurants nearby. The local town is a short 15 min walk away and has lots of facilities, including a great beauty parlor and nail bar, as well as a night market with fantastic street food.

Wie erwartet war alles sehr einfach, aber die Zeit in so authentischer Atmosphäre verbringen zu dürfen, war purer Luxus. Die Gastgeberin war kommunikativ und in jeder Beziehung hilfreich, sie gab Einblicke in die Geschichte und Kultur der Mon, gab Tipps für Unternehmungen, besorgte Fahrgelegenheiten oder brachte einen mit eigenem Roller zur gewünschten Stelle. Ein sehr eindrückliches Erlebnis!!
